Ever since a problem was encountered on Apollo 13, Houston has been an international household name. The 4th largest US city, it is home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center where Mission Control is located. Of course, this is not its only claim to fame. This is Texas after all, where everything is big.
Houston’s Reliant Astrodome was the world’s first indoor sports stadium under a domed roof, and the Galleria is the largest mall in Texas. The city’s Livestock Show and Rodeo is the largest in the world, and the JP Morgan Chase Tower is the planet’s tallest 5-sided building. The list goes on.
Amid the skyscrapers of the thriving CBD is the Toyota Center, home of the city’s NBA and AHL teams. The theatre district is also in the downtown area, whereas the museum district is concentrated to the north-east of Hermann Park, home of a boating lake, nature reserve and miniature railway. Also here is Houston Zoo, and just west is Rice University, one of several in the city.
The bohemian Rice Village is popular with students, as are the city’s historic pubs and leafy parks. Houston also has no shortage of restaurants or accommodation options. Those on Booking.com include motels, apartments and hotels near George Bush Airport.

Research an area before heading to a restaurant, even if the restaurant is in an article touting how great it is. It's very spread out, if you want a good look at Houston you'll need a car or a long time in a bus.
Excellent thrift shopping in Houston.

I love Houston Texas.
I love Houston Texas. It is a beautiful city and you will it enjoy it if you are going with family, out for business, or going for a grand time. There are wonderful places to dine in or you could grab a bite to eat on the go with packed favorites. There are locations here that you can fall in love like the first time each visit. The museums are great, night on the towns are exciting, and business can be conducted well.

The area that I was in seemed okay, (near Hobby airport) I enjoyed shopping at the Galleria. We enjoyed eating familiar foods, I'm from Louisiana but I live in Minnesota and the food is NOT the same as the south and forget about ice cold delicious, sweet tea!!! But I truly enjoyed the areas and attractions that we were able to see. The weather was beautiful!!!

Our visits to Houston are primarily for health care at MD Anderson, but we definitely enjoy our time in the area. Traffic in and around the city is challenging, but that's true of every major city. We love the food, the shopping, and the museum district.
Very clean hotel in an extremely nice area of Houston, it's right off of the highway so you can access anywhere quickly, it's about 20 minutes from downtown HTX, the room was comfortable and clean, check in and out was a breeze, the parking lot was very well lit and easy to get in and out of with ease. The hotel provided breakfast which was pretty good compared to other hotels, they also have a full bar in the lobby with a nice social area. Definitely was a perfect stay for our weekend stay!
I can't recommend this well enough! It's awesome!! Easily the best BnB we've been at and better than many hotels. I don't know where to start from, there are so many good things. Super cozy, but party like at the same time, media room, free snacks and treats everywhere, fire pit on the balcony, bbq, yard, free parking, fantastic location close to downtown, bars and restaurants. So many other little things and two cutest big dogs. Hosts are the nicest, helpful and they really care
The entire hotel was so clean and the staff were amazing. The check in process was so easy and it’s located in pretty close proximity to all of Houston’s downtown hotspots. My flight was changed and they let me check out late and the stay overall was just so great I will definitely be back to this location I have not a single complaint.
Exceptional for the value! Will definitely stay again when in Houston! Staff was professional and personable. Room was clean and comfortable. As an airline crew member, I’ve stayed at thousands of hotels. Club Quarters is exceptional! And finally, the Filet Mignon in the hotel’s restaurant was Texas good!! Yum!!
Very comfortable and spacious guestroom. Breakfast was very good. Superior to previous experiences both at La Quinta and other similar hotel chains. It did exceed our expectations, Very modern, provides gym center and laundry facility. Conveniently located to drive to downtown Houston and to reach IAH airport.
Very clean all throughoutt the hotel, thanks to the excellent accommodation staff and very good management. 👍 Breakfast was the best I've had so far in any hotel in Texas.. The pool and hot tub are lovely and complimentary coffee-tea-water all day. I would, and I AM highly recommending this hotel.
Excellent hotel, the receptionists are so nice and helpful. Breakfast modest but very good, there was always variety of food. If you look for a clean place with decent food in the area of Texas Medical Centre don't hesitate. Hotel offers free shuttle to clincis as well
Cosy, fully equipped apartment, centrally located in downtown Houston. Everything well explained by the host before arrival and departure. Wifi working great, parking in garage included. I enjoyed my stay, should I come back to Houston that will be my place to stay.
If you are overnighting in Houston, this is the best location. You just take the airport train that takes you from the terminals and it stops at the hotel! Grab a skycap (porter) if you have lots of luggage and they will take you all the way there! So convenient!
Had to overnight in Houston on the way to an International destination. Location was perfect. Great breakfast before heading to the airport. The staff was super nice and helpful. I had packages delivered to the hotel, which were promptly given to me at check-in.
The hotel’s location is extremely central in downtown Houston, which is why I chose it. It is possible to walk to restaurants, entertainment venues, etc…
I was also lucky to get an upgrade upon check-in, which is always appreciated, even for a one-night stay!
All staff members were very friendly, positive and helpful. The room was big and clean. The location is great to be able to walk all around downtown Houston and the light rail is right there by the hotel as well. The nightly rate was fantastic for the area.
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious as were the bathrooms. Coffee and tea in the room. The lounge and bar are a great spot for a drink. The nicest place we have stayed while holidaying in Texas.
The hotel was comfortable overall: the room was large with a big the kind size bed.
It was close enough to the museum area and to the downtown (15mn drive).
We loved the breakfast and the restaurants accessible by foot from the hotel.
The rooms were a nice size and so were the 2 queen beds in them. It was very quiet. The hotel was very clean and was located in a good part of Houston. It was very close to the Galleria and sites like the Museum of Natural Science.
This place was perfect for us! Simple quite fantastic location and no bother at all. I highly recommend if you just want an old-fashioned lovely place to stay in Houston downtown..
Staff literally treated us like family. Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely not your everyday hotel, but was a unique experience, especially for downtown houston
