I found Tel Aviv very relaxing, welcoming, full of history and architecture place. It has an awesome beach promenade with perfect views, runners, surfers, good signers. We admired the number of people doing sports, playing games, walking down the promenade.

We came not only to help the country at such a difficult time, but also to reconnect with family and friends. Tel Aviv is a vibrant, bustling city...if you've never been you'll notice that Israelis are loud and somewhat impatient. There's more car horns honked here than anywhere else. The bus system is terrific and it's easy to get around, either by bus or train. There are some wonderful museums here, particularly the ANU Museum at Tel Aviv University in Ramat Aviv. The Carmel Market and Nahalat Binyamina are great outdoor markets. Most things are within walking distance of the hotel, and if not, then a short bus ride. The train station that takes you to Jerusalem is within walking distance as well and the train ride is less than an hour. If you're a beach person, the entire coastline is beaches with a boardwalk and a carousel. And the food in restaurants is terrific! We didn't have a bad meal while here. And the bakeries are to die for. Israelis are so grateful for the support they receive from tourists and we made many friends along the way, from shop keepers to hotel staff. A very worthwhile trip!

Tel Aviv is a very nice city with great atmosphere, having everything you need for a multidimensional holiday: the sea and lovely beach for swimming and walking, and lots of fantastic Jewish and Israeli culture: beautiful music at opera and concerts, fascinating small and big museums and wonderful food! And it is just beautiful to walk in Tel Aviv, discovering the lovely streets with charming little museums, cafes and restaurants!

My son and I arrived one day before the recent War started,...
My son and I arrived one day before the recent War started, so this review will focus on the staff and their handling of the situation, rather than more mundane things. Tours and outside businesses were closed but the hostel maintained a normal schedule (including providing Israeli breakfasts and keeping the bar open). When sirens sounded, as they did unpredictably, the staff went to all rooms to make sure that the occupants went to the basement shelters. Beyond that, the staff were proactive and very well trained to identify and help residents who were having problems or were upset and nervous; proactive because they did not wait to be asked for help, but reached out to the residents. The night person (?Aron?) and the bartender Anton were particularly on-the-ball, socializing those who were isolated and keeping a positive tone. When my son got a flight and left early, they gave him a refund, but when I extended my stay by a day because I could not get a flight out, they waived my fee. Crisis certainly reveals character.
Nice hotel close to the beach in northern central Tel Aviv.
The room was nice with comfortable beds and bathroom.
It's just about 3 min walking distance to the beach and you can borrow some extra towels and a bag for the beach for free.
There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. For breakfast they provide good coffee, cake and some fruit.
We easily walked from there to all places we wanted to visit in Tel Aviv. Even to Jaffa it's about 40 min walking along the beach.
It has a central location and is 2 blocks from the beach promenade. We were greeted warmly, with an upgraded room and were able to retain it for the final night when we joined our tour group. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The front desk staff were extremely helpful with a good dinner recommendation and enabled us to grab a quick early breakfast so we could join an early morning Day Tour. All in all- a good choice for a stay in Tel Aviv.
I love a boutique hotel and this has been one of the best. Really lovely rooms with some thoughtful details like yoga mats, complimentary drinks in the fridge, nice bath products, use of beach towels and bikes. Complimentary drink at the bar was a really nice touch. Great location and exceptionally helpful staff. The breakfast looks great. Have yet to have but will tomorrow. The rooms are small but usually they are in boutique hotels.
Clean hotel with spacious rooms and lovely pool. I arrived after an overnight flight from London and when I got to the hotel my room was not ready. I was offered an “upgrade” which I later found out that there was a misunderstanding in pricing. Needless to say, it was an outrageous amount over what I paid through booking.com and the hotel didn’t budge. I visit Tel Aviv every year and will not be going back to this hotel.
Fantastic hotel with extraordinary location in Tel Aviv, where you could be in the entrance of Jaffa with very nice restaurants and sunset and at the same time close to the beaches in Tel Aviv
The rooms are quite comfortable with a fantastic view over the sea (the pool location is amazing)
Huge variety breakfast with a very attentive and supportive staff (which is not so normal in Israel)
Free wifi everywhere
Amazing apartment with everything that I needed. Walking distance to everything. I stayed in a 5 star hotel last time I was in Tel Aviv but this apartment was way better and better value for money. There was plenty of space all the amenities you need to cook, clean, fridge and beach things to take with you. I have recommended this place to other people who will be visiting Tel Aviv soon. It was a superb stay.
Location is brilliant, at the intersection of Carmel Market (must visit), Allenby & Sheinkin Streets - under 10 mins walk to the beach, restaurants and shops everywhere.
Rooftop pool and sun deck is a rare commodity in boutique hotels in Tel Aviv
Nice touch to have almonds and bottle of alcohol in our room.
Cool vibe around the hotel.
Staff are friendly.
It was our second stay at this hotel. It is very close to the beach and now is completly renovated. You can still park your car in the OperaTower for a decent price which is good regarding there is no parking in Tel Aviv near the beach. We didn't have the breakfast this time for we had to leave very early to get to the airport and only stayed on night.
Hotel is conveniently located in Tel Aviv. walking distance to the beach, or to the city center. Breakfast is great, lobby is comfortable. Interior of rooms is nice.
Staff is also helpful and supportive. Special thanks to Eden, who helped us with our super earlier arrival - 5am, breakfast, main city attraction and late departure.
The Herods Tel Aviv is a great location right on the beach as well as a hotel pool. the business lounge was a plus especially on Saturday afternoon. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to all of our needs. Managers Karen and Daniel provided extra care over Shabbat. Yona at the front desk was very helpful.
Just the best. The staff, the amenities, the rooms are SO amazing and bigger than any other hotel i've stayed at here. I can't say enough how good the staff were. So accomodating. From the robes to the beach bags they pack you for the beach this place is probably tel aviv's best stay for the money.
The location is the best i could have imagine. The hotel is exactly in front of the beach and next to the popular promenade to the beach. However it was a bit hard to find where the hotel entrance is.The staff was friendly. The rooftop is also amazing. The view is one of the best i have ever seen!😍
the gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and extremely helpful to anything we needed. great hotel for the price including a breakfast. one block off the beach…great location. we would book again if we ever go back to Tel Aviv. we would definitely recommend.
Pods are lovely, silent, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Very appreciated free coffee and tea offering. Great location just near the beach. Tel Aviv is an expensive town and this is your best choice if you're on a tight budget.
This is a great location if you wish to be near the beach in Tel Aviv, The room was great, good size great amenities and the staff were very friendly.
The hotel offered wine and snacks in the afternoon/ evening which really was a bonus!!
Very cozy and small hotel. Close to the beach. Very good If you are staying for a few nights in Tel Aviv. Near the hotel, there are a few supermarkets (one of them is AM:PM) and restaurants. If you like parties, one club is really close.
The staff went well and beyond to make sure I would have a great stay.
The beach is 2 min walk
The breakfast is amazing!
The vibe of the lace is terrific!
The hotel is in the center of Tel Aviv with a lot to do around.
if you are looking for an inexpensive short stay near Tel Aviv beach, this can be a great alternative to traditional big hotels. The staff was very friendly and responsive. a/c worked efficiently and silently.
People in this hotel are very kind and friendly. Very close to the beach around 2 blocks, restaurants around the corner. I high recommended this hotel in the heart of Tel aviv.
