It was a modernized, clean, relaxing facility. The front desk employee was able to accommodate us in getting our room much earlier than the check in. The fact that you have space to hold our luggage securely. And my favorite was the penthouse view and lounges. OMG!!! So awesome. My friend and I hung out up there for the whole afternoon being that there wasn't much to do in the vicinity. The relaxing music added to the ambiance. So nice. And last but not least, the fact that there's a scale downstairs to weigh your luggage. It allowed us to pack properly before going to the airport the next day.

Weather was horrid drizzle and cold wind.

Weather was horrid drizzle and cold wind. Never felt 100% safe on the street. Museum Ramses 2 great (do the VR) Outdoor theatre was magnificent with Opera house , bridge and city scape in the background. Had a horrible experience when leaving airport security confiscated a electronic lighter that was a gift left a very sour taste in my mouth about travel to Sydney. Other than that lots to see and do, easy enough to get around, food was good and accommodation ok.

Sydney in March/April is such a beautiful time to visit.

Sydney in March/April is such a beautiful time to visit. Get around by ferries, walk around Barangaroo, and visit Bennie the Sydney Opera House seal who comes to sit on the steps each day. A visit to Sydney should not be without a coastal walk from Bronte to Bondi (and back again), stopping for lunch at Bondi Ice Bergs. Public Transport is easy and affordable, however, I try to avoid the trains as they didnt feel very safe. Highlight restaurant was Penelopes at Circular Quay

City transport (trains, buses and ferries) is very efficient...

City transport (trains, buses and ferries) is very efficient and having an Opal card facilitates travelling and minimises cost. If you are a senior, make sure to obtain a gold card for the significant savings they offer. Plenty of great eateries and pubs to choose from and prices generally in line with out of state venues (eg Tasmania). Plenty of entertainment options on offer for all ages. Take a comfortable pair of walking shoes!

An amazing city. Everything you do is memorable. The people are friendly, helpful, and courteous. Make sure you go to the Blue Mountains (all day affair) take the ferry to Manley Beach (1/2 day min), 333 bust to Bondi Beach (another 1/2 day), the Sydney Opera House (budget 3-4 hours if you take the tour) and the Chinese Gardens of Friendship.

Sydney is a very walkable city and the transit - light rail, busses and the train were all easily accessible, clean, and fast. Best meal: Thai Nesia, the massaman curry was amazing. Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge at night if you can. Ride the ferries, take the busses to the beaches and small neighborhoods. I took a private walking/food tour with "Sustainability Gem" which I would highly recommend. Her knowledge of the city and its neighborhoods is extensive. I'll be back, so much more to see and do.

Ths staff are amazing - so unassuming and very friendly I am just writing to say THANKYOU you are absolutely the Best. Your staff are just fantastic. On leaving my car in valet parking - i joked that i would not complain if it came back washed. The response came back - what would you do if that happened, and I promptly advised i would live in the Hotel forever. I was just stunned when my car was handed back to me clean...UNBELIVABLE.. You have no idea how shocked I was and how happy that made me. You are definitely my number 1 recommendation for a stay in Sydney. Please reward your staff.. they are amazing.

The hotel is really nice. It may not seem it by photos i.e. put off by the sink in the room, but it is actually a really good room. The bathroom is quirky, but the shower is really nice. The beds were really soft. The airport is about 20 mins away via public transport which is easy to catch from the hotel, and the CBD is about 30-40 mins away via public transport. Easy as. KFC and McDonald's right next door for late night feeds, can't go wrong. Cheap and nice location.

Loved this boutique hotel and will definitely stay there next time I'm in Sydney. I normally stay at luxury hotels in the CBD for work but I enjoyed this stay far more. The room was clean and really comfortable. It was super quiet at night time even tho the hotel its on Oxford St and the staff are really friendly. We needed a family room due to transit. The apartment (self-catering!) Was great: very clean, large and cozy, kitchen including dishwasher + good equipment, washing machine + dryer, very good beds, 2 bathrooms, top soundproofing, balcony, great location to the airport (we did not need shuttle offer) and supporting and friendly staff. It was one of the best hotels we had on our 3-week AUS-trip. Price-performance was also right. Highly recommended!

It is obvious that an effort has been made to renovate and improve, with new carpet, big TVs etc... I particularly appreciate the linen on the bed. I also loved the fact I was given some vouchers to get my breakfast from the café next door, which is very good. The location of the hotel is also great, very near to Town Hall for transport, Darling Harbour and the CBD.
