The filtered water was great! I liked all the art, and artist bios. I liked the attention to details, like having a black make-up removal washcloth - which makes so much sense! The towels were nice and fluffy, too. The French press coffee was excellent.

Vancouver is an outdoorsy city ranking among the world’s most livable, sheltered by Vancouver Island and the Pacific Range mountains. The most famous peak, Grouse Mountain, is a favorite spot for hiking and skiing. Take the cable car up for magnificent views of the city's skyscrapers and huge Stanley Park.
Skirting this park is the Seawall, a popular biking trail with paths passing the Vancouver Aquarium, picnic spots and a pitch and putt course. There are also a couple of beaches, but the best ones are along English Bay in Kitsilano.
Granville Island is just across False Creek from Yaletown and houses some quirky shops and markets. Ferries depart from here to near BC Place Stadium and home field of the city’s football and soccer teams. The legendary Vancouver Canucks ice hockey team play next door at Rogers Arena.
With the largest Chinatown in North America, Gastown is the oldest part of Vancouver and is near the Canada Place cruise ship terminal.
We could go on and on about British Columbia's biggest city, but we could never do it justice, so why not try it for yourself? Booking.com has a fabulous range of accommodations, from hotels near Vancouver Airport in Richmond to downtown B&Bs and motels near all of its ferry ports.
I love the view of mountains and water in Vancouver.
I love the view of mountains and water in Vancouver. Lots of areas to visit, and lots of places to visit for eating. The gardens are really pretty. Taking ferries to get to various areas is a great way of transport. I would recommend to stay possibly on Vancouver Island or set off really early, as we hit traffic getting to Twassen so had to wait another hour for next ferry. Enjoyed what we did though.

A great city for walking, clean and well designed, loved the library and small contemporary art gallery near Yaletown. Vancouver playhouse only steps away from our hotel. We also found a tasty ice cream shop.

Vancouver has one of the best city settings that I have seen...
Vancouver has one of the best city settings that I have seen in my life. The combination of water and mountains surrounding the city is unbeatable, every time you walk out of the hotel you can see some new angles and awesome views. The city itself is OK, I walked a fair bit around it, but I found it a bit confusing. Like shopping options - personally I have found them very limited and only after I reached Park Royal shopping centre in West Vancouver I found more varied options. Definitely the highlights for me in the city were: Granville Island, Rogers Arena (or seeing a live hockey game, to be precise), Seawall and Gastown had its charm too. If I would visit Vancouver again, I would definitely plan more activities around the town than inside it. Things that I definitely did not enjoy about it was tremendous amount of constant noise from all directions, amount of car traffic everywhere, loads of homeless people and very visible drug users all around city centre. If you have time during your Vancouver visit, go and drive to place like Squamish, it's only an hour away from the city but it's much calmer, quieter and greener. Also I could not recommend more booking a whale watching trip (mine was with Price of Whales), it's worth every penny. Overall, surroundings of the city made bigger impression on me than city itself, but definitely a place worth visiting at least once.

Walk the area, go up the observation tower, cycle Stanley Park (hiring is easy and cheap) visit Capilano Suspension Bridge, walk around the waterfront and Coal Harbour, get a lazy lunch at Joeys watching a game, go see the Canucks at Rogers Arena. All done in 2 full days but lots more to do no doubt

My granddaughter and I got to the hotel just as the restaurant was closing, the hotel staff let me know that McDonald's restaurant was within walking distance. Also the hotel held our luggage for the day so we could take the sky train and shop in downtown Vancouver. Once again the staff let us know how to get to the B.C. Ferries using public transportation. Travelling is tuff and expensive, so I like to have chooses. Thank you, Celia

Went to Vancouver for the first time to catch Health's show at the Commodore. It was a really awesome trip. Vancouver isn't the most alternative city, so if you're part of that scene, you've gotta do some extensive research to find stores and events, but those who are part of the alt scene are awesome folks, and love to connect. Stoked to go back!
We came to Vancouver from Vancouver Island for a concert. We walked on the Ferry and took the express bus into the City. This Hotel was extremely convenient. The bus stop is 3 blocks away; Frankies Restaurant is next door and the food and service were excellent. BC Place is across the street; Rogers arena is a 5 minute walk; Shopping on Robson Street is a 6 minute walk. The Staff were very friendly, checkin and checkout was quick and easy. Loved everything about the Hotel.
The Sutton Place Hotel is a lovely hotel in Vancouver, situated in the heart of downtown. We had an amazing restful sleep and it was super easy to get around. We could do lot's of attraction on foot because it was so well located. The hotel itself is lovely with a bunch of renovated rooms. The service was spot on. Very close to Robson street, you are near great restaurants, museums, shopping, all waterfronts are reachable by foot. It is a great hotel to discover Vancouver!
The room was smallish but was so nice it made up for it. I have stayed at almost every hotel in downtown vancouver, the service here and how you are treated and the emmenties, free valet (paid parking but reasonable), electronic keys with your phone if you chose, eetc. the way you were treated is on par with the 4.5 and 5 star hotels. When you even thought about lifting something, or oepning a door there was osmebody there anticipating. Great place. Well managed.
Amazing hotel with great and helpful staff. The hotel staff (Front desk, housekeeping, restaurant) was pleasant, prompt and professional. The rooms were spacious and super clean. L’Hermitage lived upto our expectations and made our stay in Vancouver so worth it. The location is super central and convenient to get around downtown. Absolutely loved our stay and would totally stay here again with friends or family!
This hotel was beautiful. Centrally located short walk from Canada Place. Is also a stop for Hop On Hop off bus tour so easy to get back to hotel. View was spectacular. Staff at P2B and at hotel desk and bell desk were kind and helpful. Provided us with coupons and maps of things to do around Vancouver. I would definitely stay here again!!
Great location. We did not have breakfast we left the hotel at 4.30 AM for the airport. But we were very disappointed with the flying with Flair airlines [2 hours delay in lax and 5 hours delay in Vancouver, We receive a voucher for $10 each as a compensation for food. This was not acceptable and are requesting some refunds.
Thank you
The location on Coal Harbor was picturesque, a quieter area of downtown Vancouver. This hotel has been a premier destination and we got a good rate and was looking forward to staying there. Close walk to a couple of breakfast places along the water. It was really cold so probably would enjoy the setting more during warmer months.
Wow! What a view I got from the 24th floor. FANTASTIC! So exciting. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The room was fantastic, clean, modern, spacious, great beds. The lifts were fast and easy to use. I had breakfast in the restaurant by reception which was of an excellent standard.
Newly renovated hotel in mid city area.
We felt vary safe here unlike much of Vancouver.
Convenient walk from cruise terminal 10 min.
Lovely rooms and exceptional breakfast.
The best value accommodation we could find in Vancouver. Many people we know paid more and got less in worse locations.
Best location in West End. Close to false creek Ferry/Granville Island, English Bay, Yaletown. Very walkable neighborhood. Spacious suites with balcony. Staff makes you feel like home. Forget the big box hotels! This is where you want to be in Vancouver!!
Staff was good
Room was good
Breakfast was good
Location was good
from Vancouver Airport to take skytrain to waterfront and then take bus R5 to Renfrew st outside of petrolpump and hotel was infront of petrolpump.
Overall everything was good
Good central location close to good range of bars and restaurants; reasonable value compared to other downtown Vancouver options; good option for holiday travel needing a comfortable hotel without frills; works well for a short city break stay
Great location on Robson St. in the heart of Downtown Vancouver central to all the major shopping stores and food. Hotel staff were friendly, and attentive. The kids love the pool and we enjoyed breakfast daily at Abode in the hotel.
Good downtown location and very convenient for the Canada Line station at Vancouver City Centre and direct service to the airport. Easy walk to the Waterfront and shopping. Great location for the stadium, bars and restaurants.
Central location in downtown Vancouver close to shopping, restaurants, waterfront.
Hotel accommodated early check in. Staff friendly. Accommodations luxe and balcony with comfortable seating was a bonus.
