Monterrey is a wonderful city, a bit hot sometimes but worth visiting. It has loads of amenities and places to go, and hosts the best private university in Latin America, Tecnológico de Monterrey. It is worth visiting town centre, Parque Fundidora, and eat "cabrito" in the various restaurants available.

Monterrey is a beautiful city with lots of things to see and do in and around the city. The Macroplaza is the cultural center of the city and there are many restaurants, museums, shops, and locals walking around the area. The Antigua area is across from the Macroplaza and there is the old part of the city with the Monterrey Cathedral and lots of shops and restaurants as well. On Saturday and Sunday the Antigua area has a few very good local flea markets. Also, Monterrey has a great subway system called the Metrorrey and its really easy to use and a very cheap way to get around this great city! I highly recommend Monterrey for any tourists who want to get some great Mexican food and culture that is only a 45 minute flight from Houston and a 3hour bus ride from the border. VIVA MONTERREY!

Monterrey is a very large industrial city with horrible traffic. Pollution is bad, and its not really a nice place to walk around. Yes, it has museums, and soccer stadiums, nice restaurants, like most cities with 6-8 million people, but unless you love crowded places I consider this a place to work, not to visit,

City is growing and there was a lot of complaints about trafic but we did not had any issue with it. The city offered good amenities like Luztopia, shoping, and had the 2 college football semifinals. We did like our stay.

Monterrey has incredible places to do trecking, or activities in nature. It has great restaurants, and nice views. A very local taqueria (24 hours service) is "Las Delicias", you have to try it!!!
the air conditioner was terible, just by seeing the unit it self you can tel its cheap, the sound it makes just unbearable for most people whose trying to sleep. the air flowing from the ac is to strong even when i try to set the fan speed to lowest as possible, there is no way to deflect the airflow as you could normaly do with other AC.I try not to use it and want to open the window instead, but it can not be opened.
the hotel seemed new, i can smell the paint on the wall.
upon arrival, hosts were arriving as well, so no issues on the first place. monterrey in the summer is EXTREMELY HOT 42 celcius, people may die on the street as it was on the news (4 passed away due to the hot) however rooms has air conditioning and the social area as well. room has a terrace , your clothes may dry in 5 minutes hehehe! the guys were nice and I stay over till find my next place to stay as they were fully booked for the following day.
The location it’s great, breakfast awesome, I did not expect a good breakfast for the price, but it was awesome, the (guy) waiter near the bread and sandwich section it’s the best, really attentive, out of the staff him and the front desk lady with gray hair were the best. The cleaning lady on point. She need a raise. And yes am staying again there next year. I highly recommen the hotel
The location was perfect for sightseeing downtown. Easy walk to various museums, Paseo de Santa Lucia, pedestrian shopping area...
I arrived by Greyhound Bus, and was pleasantly surprised that the metro began at the Greyhound station, and was a fast 20-minute ride to the Macroplaza. Exiting the subway station I found myself right in front of Hotel Monterrey.
The hotel is beautiful. Location is central to Monterrey; beds are comfortable, and rooms are nice with amenities were quite happy when we arrived and went to our room. We did have a dinner in the restaurant that was good, but a little overpriced compared to off-site locations. The issue with that is there's nothing you can walk to close by.
Hotel room needs major renovations and repairs. The roof was leaking water and had black mold that they poorly tried to cover up. A/c did not work well a couple nights. The best part of this hotel is the breakfast and the location right in the heart of everything and direct access to fundidora. However, they need to remodel and fix asap.
In my option this is the best hotel in Monterrey. Impeccably clean, and stylish property! I had amazing views of the city and mountains from my room and the staff were always extremely helpful and polite. I was so impressed with the quality of this hotel, I extended my stay!
I was pleasantly surprised by the size and the quality of the hotel
The ladies at reception were very nice and helpful
The room was big and very spacious
The breakfast is simple but good - it can be taken in the dining room and brought to the room
Pool area and services was great, it´s super good you can order directly using whatsapp. Its a plus to have Reys bar at the bottom of the hotel, food and drinks are great complement for your stay.
The staff were all amazing. The rooms were out of this world. I've traveled a lot and I would say this was my best hotel visit by far. It's not cheep but for a couple it's an outstanding hotel.
Pet friendly hotel, big plus.
All the staff we met were very kind and helpful.
Quick service, also in the bar and restaurant. Good food.
Comfortable room.
Good location next to a main road.
The location is good, right in the Centro but not on such a pretty street. At night, it may seem a bit rough. They offered a Continental Breakfast and the staff was always courteous.
Awesome place for a family vacation my kids loved the property as well as the restaurant. This is a 5 star hotel by my rating I will definitely take my kids back to Monterrey.
Location is excellent in one of the best areas of Monterrey, plenty of food options, commerce and entertainment. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well equiped.
