From where I was staying (Hotel Vianen) it was not too far...
From where I was staying (Hotel Vianen) it was not too far into town, (about twenty minutes tops) A bit of history there - City Gate etc. Head a little further to the Lek river and ferry terminus. I found it to be a really nice little place, and my spirits were not dampened by it being cold, overcast and wet. I personally found the locals to be very pleasant.
