Nostalgia brought back a lot of good memories from my childhood and it was just so awesome that I wish I booked a couple more days. I’ll be back for sure!!
Breakfast was amazing still at the lil cafe inside. I couldn’t believe they still had the old picture collages.

My goal with this was to visit the Naples Zoo. Specifically the new Orangutan habitat. The Naples Zoo was such a great place to visit. Their staff and volunteers were very knowledgeable and willing to share their information. The visibility of the animals in their habitat was excellent.
The Zoo is pristine in appearance and a wonderful place to explore and learn about the wonderful animals that we share this planet with.
The Zoo grounds were a former Botanical Garden so the vegetation was spectacular. The horticultural staff is doing a great job of maintaining the grounds. Driving directions to the Zoo were well-marked. The free parking at the Zoo was appreciated. I found the restaurants in the area to be a little expensive. There were the usual fast-food outlets available for the cost-conscious traveler.

There is SO much to do in Naples! Something for everyone! Really great shopping, food, beaches! It’s also a family friendly place for spring break. Quiet, quaint, and not much party atmosphere happening at all. The Fish House is a must, Gelato and shopping on Fifth Avenue, catch a sunset cruise, find sharks teeth and shells on the beaches!

Being a naples native it is a beautiful city, the traffic Is very heavy, prepare to leave at least 40 minutes prior to your planned time to get to your destination, and plan to leave your destination 40 minutes prior to the next destination/ hotel. Research places to go/ things to do and cost at least a year before you plan your trip, if you book anything do so at least 3 months ahead for non seasonal and at least 6 months to 1 year before the trip during the seasonal times. During seasonal months prices go up higher than non seasonal times. Plan for expected deposits in hotels (anywhere from $100-500 some refundable, some non refundable). Best hotel locations are along 41 south ( closer to the mall, beaches, and restaurants close by to 5th Ave and the pier) 5th Ave has fine dining, high end stores similar to rodeo drive in LA.

Naples is a lovely place.
Naples is a lovely place. The beach is lovely and it is a good place to explore South West Florida and the Everglades from. The restaurants are good. The parking and driving generally are pretty terrible.

An elegant city with beautiful homes, gardens, tropical colors - all maintained perfectly. Of course, favorite spots were Fifth Avenue shopping, Tin City for local flavor and canals everywhere I looked. Best meal was the fresh stone crab claws at Pinchers.

I loved the location, cleanliness, and having everything we needed within the establishment. We went downtown to 5th Street for New Year's Eve and frequented some of the restaurants there. It was Awesome. This is the 3rd year in a row going to Naples for New Year's and I plan on going again.
Lastly, we went to the Player's Club during the day and walked to Sam Sneed's at night.
LOVED IT
We absolutely loved our stay: the staff was very accommodating and nice. The hotel is very stylish, the rooms are cozy and clean. It is also very quiet, which is a huge bonus, so we've returned home happy and rejuvenated. location is top! Oh, and we loved that the hotel has a shuttle to the beach and the stuff member even took us to a nice coffee shop we wanted to go to on our way to the beach. I'd definitely return and definitely recommend this place for stay!
The location was perfect and we walked to the old town down of Naples, & Tin City. Ate at a restaurant on 5th Ave. after walking along the downtown section with all the fancy shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel was in excellent condition. The décor was outstanding. The upkeep of the compound was excellent. The room was very spacious and we loved the Keurig coffee machine. My husband loved that touch for the room amenities!
After many years of traveling to Naples as a favorite destination for our family, we booked at Pelican Inn for the first time and it has been the best decision. From the first moment a wonderful attention from each person who works in the hotel. The cleanliness, amenities, amazing breakfast with lifemusic, environment. Every detail of the hotel is a plus.
Super quiet room with a very comfy bed. Very clean. I’m not into air conditioners so was pleasantly surprised that the room had a ceiling fan which I left on the whole time and it kept the room temp perfect. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. Bonus points for being dog-friendly when the majority of Naples area hotels are not.
Location is good, as it is on the beach. The hotel was easy to find and get to from the airport. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel that looked out to the beach. Restaurant on site is excellent. We had an excellent NY dinner there. The concierge was excellent and made great restaurants' recommendation in Naples.
This hotel comes with a tropical style ambience and is very close to Naples downtown and historic district. Rooms are a bit old fashioned but were quite comfortable, breakfast is typical US style for these category of hotels. We will come here again!
Clean, large room
comfy bed
near restaurants shops. etc but need a car
Coffee maker in room- but need more supplies
10 miles to Naples beach
Fridge was v good- small ice book which did keep ice cream frozen
value for money
would stay again
Great location - directly on the beach! Very nice, old school hotel. Parking a little confusing on arrival but otherwise not an issue. Glad to see they're making such progress recovering from the hurricane!
Amazing location to discover Naples and Marco island! Rooms are newly renovated and super clean inside. This hotel has a nice gym, laundry, spacious Den and lobby area. Exceptional customer service
We really enjoyed this place and really goes down as one of the best places we have stayed in the price range (and it would probably give quite a few higher rated hotels a run for their money)
We liked the location and the tram to the beach. It’s 5 miles from Naples Pier and downtown shopping. Views were gorgeous. Hotel is clean. Staff seemed friendly what little interaction we had.
Nice choice of breakfast items and you could sit outside. Chap at Reception was very helpful and polite. One of the best hotels we stayed at in Florida, great price and a large room.
Spacious, modern and clean. Very well equipped and great pool/ garden.
Quiet neighbourhood.
Short drive away from downtown Naples and beaches.
Thoughtful welcome basket on arrival.
Pool was clean and management provided us enough towels. The hotel offered us early check in and late check out too. Not your best or worst hotel. Is fairly priced.
