What a magical city! So much history and worth exploring around the Island to see the different influences. We left wanting more and are already planning our next trip. The local wine was a lovely suprise - we absolutely could not get enough of it! And the quality of food that we tried was exceptional. I don't know why I sound so surprised but I really genuinely came away from our weekend away thinking it was one of the best mini-vacations we have had. Not to mention how darned friendly the locals are.

Valletta is definitely worth a trip especially if you are interested in history and architecture. However there are also other parts of Malta that are worth going to as well as Valetta. The three days we spent there was enough. Be aware that it is very busy with tourists even on off peak seasons.

Interesting, attractive and historical place to visit with plenty to see and do for a few days. Lots of places to eat and drink. Quite hilly so not good for people with mobility issues. Maltese people generally friendly and cheerful. Excellent bus service to visit other parts of the island. For those who don't do foreign languages, the Maltese speak English. Quire noisy so if you dont like noise at night consider carefully where your hotel is situated.

There are lots of steps in the city so you would be limited in what you can access if you have mobility issues.
The Lascari War Rooms are very detailed.
Had a great meal at Legligin - go hungry!
The ferry to Gozo is very easy to use and the local buses can take you all over the island.
We took the hop on/off bus in Malta to the aquarium which was small but full of interesting fish. The restaurant there is surprisingly good.

Valletta is pretty and interesting, the grid pattern with most streets pedestrianised allows for pavement cafes and restaurants and makes it easy and pleasant to get around. Water views on all sides pop up as you traverse the city .Beautiful architecture. The ferries and water taxis are a must to see the other cities.
Interesting and thought provoking museums. The people v friendly and helpful. ... the buses are so cheap and various , no need to bother with the explorer ticket, just get your head round the system and explore this interesting island

A beautiful clean city with lots of history, museums, and stunning views. There are very pleasant and cozy restaurants, souvenir shops, and brand shops too. The people speak perfect English, so it is really easy to communicate. The city center is completely walkable and safe, even in the evenings.
A beautiful new boutique hotel nestled in historic Valletta. The rooms are set up wonderfully with espresso machines, mini fridge, spacious modern bathrooms and, delightfully, the traditional Maltese “galleria” balconies. Breakfasts were copious, varied, and delicious, and all the staff went out of their way to make our stay a great pleasure. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more and highly recommend the Capital Boutique Hotel.
An amazing hotel, located on a quiet street, away from the noise of the pubs and restaurants of Valetta, but still close enough for you too reach them by foot. The staff was kind, very capable and incredibly helpful, even aiding us in planning trips around Malta. I encourage you to opt in for breakfast as it was simply delicious, probably the best we've had. All in all, an amazing experience.
Great location. Easy walking distance to city centre but away from the noise. Lots of restaurants near by if you don't want to cook.
Very comfortable apartment in a beautiful sandstone building with a lift, aircon and a washing machine.
Late checkout on day of departure was appreciated as our flight didn't leave until late afternoon/early evening.
Lovely hotel in a very good location in Valletta, walking distance to the central bus station and all the attractions of the city.
Very attentive, professional and polite stuff.
Nice view from the rooftop terrace.
Comfy beds.
Nice breakfast space. As for the breakfast itself, it was quit good, but I would improve the quality of some of the products.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is on the most picturesque street, has a lovely cafe next door, is super clean, and has the most friendly, helpful and kind people running it. it’s a family business and they operate it with pride and care. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Valletta.
Location was just about perfect if you want to be in the city centre
Very nice host and comfortable apartment
Nice balcony to watch everything going on in the street below
We were allowed to keep our suitcases in the hall after checkout before taking an evening flight
Considering the location and what the hotel has to offer it is incredibly affordable.
It is located 10 minutes walk from Valletta city centre, it offers a pool by the harbor, a nice view of the harbor, a spa (this is extra), underground parking and more.
The location was great for staying within Valletta! The staff was phenomenal. The staff responded in a timely manner and helped with my last-minute needs (e.g., getting a taxi within 15 minutes). The hotel is an older building, but we enjoyed its charm.
Everyone there especially Tony , Lucia and Jacques were so friendly, helpful and nice. This hotel is beautiful, small , cozy and is located near everything. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking of staying in Malta
We were in the room on top of the building (penthouse), It was very large, well equipped and comfortable. Great views of Grand Harbour and near to Valletta city centre, restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful hotel staff.
The apartment included kitchen and it was spacious. We were in the top floor so the elevator was handy. The location made it great to walk around the city of Valletta and discover the capital of Malta.
The location really close to the city centre and the restaurants. It is really clean and well equipped. The terrace is also very nice. We found free parking around ( between the white lines).
The location was perfect and Robert was very helpful (check in/out was without any problems). The city centre can be reached on foot very quickly and the whole hiuse was very clean.
