Breakfast was nice, providing what I wanted. The location is perfect for exploring the old town and an easy 15-20 minute walk from the train station. The rooms are nice, but a bit warm and the pillows are soft. Everything really was nice though and I'd certainly go there again if in Salzburg

Made famous for its “hills alive with the sound of music”, Salzburg is a very pretty town filled with romantic buildings and squares. If you are not yet aware that Mozart was born here, then you will be as soon as you land at Salzburg W.A. Mozart International Airport.
Further your education about this musical prodigy at his actual birthplace, Mozarts Geburtshaus. The city is the namesake of the Salzach River which runs through it, and alongside this beautiful river lays the Schloss Mirabell, one of the many impressive castles within the city limits. Schloss Mirabell and Hellbrunn with their picturesque gardens, beautiful galleries and impressive halls make the ideal spot for a picnic during summer.
The white-stone Hohensalzburg fortress is perched upon a green hill and offers magnificent views over the city. Or, you can escape it all in the Kapuzinerberg forest, which offers splendid Alpine vistas- a reminder of Salzburg’s natural beauty.
The shopping centre focuses around Alter Markt Square and Getreidegasse, the latter is a quirky street with old-fashioned signs indicating what each store sells. With 125 hotels and guesthouses available on Booking.com, your stay in Salzburg is bound to be as pleasant as this city is pretty.
Beautiful scenery. Fun Sound of Music tour taken with Panorama tours (I’d recommend them). Lots of interesting places to view and visit. Great for walks and cafe/bar stops along the routes. We went by train to Vienna for a day trip and took a bus tour around the city. A full day and a little tiring but well worth it. Reception staff at the hotel booked the train and taxi tickets for us which was very helpful.

Nice ambience, small area easy to cover on foot.
Nice ambience, small area easy to cover on foot. Friendly young restaurant owners/workers, lots of alt places to check out (Afro Café, Genusswerkstatt) it doesn't always have to be the Sacher!
The hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. It is also an easy 15 minute walk to the Old Town with plenty to see on the way including shops and restaurants . There is a beautiful riverside walk at he end of the street which also leads to the Old Town. We found the hotel's location perfect for our sightseeing outings. Linda , the lady on reception is extremely helpful with suggestions on what to do in Salzburg . The room was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.
This aparthotel has a very location, a 10 minute walking from the Salzburg Train Station and the Old Town. Staying in an apartment was essential since the restaurants close very early if you arrive to the city at night. The Check-in and Check-out was easy, the staff give you great instructions. If requested (and depending availability), you can do an early check-in. The Room was bigger then expected and with everything you need for a few nights on Salzburg. We really enjoy our Stay :)
Centrally located. Just across the bridge from the Old Town. It is also just a short walk from Mirabell Gardens and about 20 minutes walk to the train station. Room was good sized. You can get complimentary bottled water and chocolates from reception. There are also umbrellas that can be loaned if it is raining.
Staff are friendly.
The rooftop bar has an awesome view of Salzburg. Do check it out if you're at this hotel
Location is superior. Customer service was fantastic- reception helped with maps- the salzburg card- calling a cab for me in the morning to the train station (which was only at 12 euro ride and they drop you off/pick you up right by the hotel) The room was very quiet and there was AC ;) Vending machine with wine/snacks in the basement is a good bonus if you feel like having a glass after hours in your room.
Good and quiet location, about 5 mins' walk from Salzburg main station. Room is clean and has a kettle. The hotel lift is a welcome sight too. Special mention to the friendly Michala who gave us much recommendations on places to visit, dinner and even the bus services to Old Town where the bus stop is round the corner of hotel, save us from walking 25 mins back and forth during our 3 days' stay.
Exceptional location (2 mins walk from Salzburg central railway station with mall next door meant convenience as well as a plethora of dining options) of this hotel made it a winner for us! Room although small was functional and well-appointed. A bit far from old town where most of the attractions were but hotel which is well-served by buses and trains helps to mitigate this issue.
Motel One Salzburg South is awesome. The location is on the fringe of the city center and close enough to get to the city and the old town. We drove from Vienna and parking is provided in the Plaza basement parking (for a fee). A supermarket is just outside the hotel.
Staff was warm and very helpful. Rooms were clean, comfy and cheerful. Highly recommended
Located in a quiet residential area, about a 10 minute walk into Salzburg old town but some shops and restaurants are only 5 minutes away. Good room nicely furnished. Had a problem with our original room but this was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the friendly staff on reception. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on the food
The location of the hotel was super! All the sightseeing sites and restaurants, bakeries were so close from the hotel and hotel staff was very friendly, informative, and attentive. Super clean, modern, and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again at this hotel if we ever come back to Salzburg.
New hotel, very clean and pleasant. Nice and helpful staff, beautiful breakfast at 15th floor with the best view of Salzburg! nice bar at 14th floor as well. Room is big and clean, the position is just perfect if you travel by train. You are in the city centre in 15-20 minutes walk. Would stay again!
The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of the old town of Salzburg! It was very easy to find even at night. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Absolutely incredible staff and great breakfast included! We would definitely stay here again we hope to be back soon!
THIS IS A WONDERFUL HOTEL - FULL OF OLD WORLD CHARM AND LOCATED IN THE HEART OF SALZBURG AND MOST DEFINETLY ONE OF THE FINEST HOTELS IN AUSTRIA AND SALZBURG
STAFF ARE EXCEPTIONAL IN ALL AREAS - RECEPTION , CONCEIERGE AND RESTUARANT
BEDROOMS ARE WELL EQUIPPED AND VERY COMFORTABLE .
This is a good Salzburg budget option with a comfy bed, clean room and quiet place to sleep. It is about a 17-min bus ride to the Old Town, depending on traffic (Take Bus 1 in front of the hotel). The staff is friendly & it was a nice stay. I would stay here again.
Nice hotel in a great setting very close to the city with parking on site. The room I had was nice, AC, very small bathroom but okay, the rest of the room was nice and you are not staying in the (bath)room all day in Salzburg (hopefully!)
The location of this hotel is superb. Right by the river, close to both the city centre as well as the train station. Our room was modern and quiet and had basically everything ypu meed for a few nights stay in Salzburg.
Wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel in the heart of Salzburg's old town. Staff are all very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is equipped with many lovely amenities. Highly recommend!
Location was absolutely great. Walking distance from train station. One bridge away from old town Salzburg.
Hotel is gorgeous. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Very good hotel for transiting Austria or for a visit to Salzburg and Tirol area. The stuff was very friendly. We liked very much the contactless check-in.
