Croom was well worth the value. It was only $85 AUD per night, and althought it was a bit small and basic, it was exactly what we were looking for. There was a laundry and also a 7-11 adjacent to the hotel, so very efficient. Also a 1m walk to the station!

Nagoya's not like your other big cities in Japan (like Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Fukuoka). There aren't many standout sightseeing spots or the like, so it might feel a bit dull if you are expecting those. But it is an excellent city to vibe in. Enjoy Japanese culture on a more relaxed - less touristy - way.

Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones. Less than some of the more touristy cities in Japan, but definitely worth visiting and exploring. Lots of tasty food and the district near my hotel was actually really pretty despite being more industrial than commercial.

We didn’t have much time to explore Nagoya as it was our starting point to travel to Shiroko for the Formula 1 race at Suzuka Circuit (Thurs- Sun) We did see a lot of Nagoya Station as we arrived & departed from there, walking to the apartment on arrival and back to the station on departure. It was an easy walk, not busy with many pedestrians until nearing the station. We went to the mini marts (7 Eleven also) numerous times for food and drink which we carried home. Also had meals at several of the restaurants nearby. A great location and wonderful accommodation! Would highly recommend.

Nagoya is a city without too many visiters compare to Tokyo or Osaka. It's just perfect for us to visit. It has lots of sightseeing places, like legoland, wild animal park, shopping centers, etc. We will revisit this city in near future.

We stayed near Nagoya station so all sort of stores and food stalls are available. We love the transportation system as always, (Japan got the best). We like the day tours we booked to Takayama and Shirakawa-go, also Nabana Nosato.
Easy to navigate, not so crowded, quiet place and of course safe even for solo lady traveler.

We liked the food, restaurants are everywhere with variety of choices, from ramen to yakiniku to curry. Shopping is also okay although limited shops but overall shopping experience is okay. We almost could not fit all in the luggage. It is also easy to go around. You can just walk or take the subway. We were there during New Year, most shops are Closed.
The hotel and room feels like brand new, everything is so clean and the bed is comfortable even for 2 adults and a child. The staff is also very helpful. Coin laundry is available although I did not use them. The location is a short walk from Nagoya station with many choices of food and the area is very safe. The Lawson store next to the hotel is really great to grab any snacks and drinks. The shower strength is superb too. Cleaners will leave a fresh set of towels and water at the door if you choose not to make-up the room for the day.
The location was good. Only short walk to the subway station and only one station away from Nagoya Train Staition. The parking was free which was the main reason why we chose this hotel in the beginning. We requested the rooms to be close together but the hotel did not provide that. However, the hotel asked us to pay extra if we would like the room next to each other. So we did pay extra. This means that the rooms were available but they just want to charge extra.
Location is best feature of this hotel: it's less than 5 minutes away from Nagoya station and various local train lines, plus it's literally above a giant department store with all kinds of shops (there's an amazing supermarket just in front of the hotel elevator on floor B1). My room was pretty spacious, with a very nice view on the trains. The hotel looks overall a bit dated, but like it used to be fancy in its heyday (which I liked)
The hotel was very near the Nagoya station (accessible JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu, local subway - railways and buses). Walking from the airport train exit to the hotel lobby was just a few minutes away. B1 of the hotel leads to the underground walkways of the station which provided short cuts instead of walking above ground. There were lots of food shops where you can buy bento boxes and snacks in the underground.
Location of the hotel was excellent, just minutes from the Meitetsu/Nagoya train station and subway. Plenty of eating options and shopping within walking distance. Very centralized location. Small room but just enough space to open one luggage fully at a time, without cramping the space too much. Good sound insulation in the room, didn't hear much road noise even though hotel was located next to the street.
it is about a 9 minute walk to Nagoya station. their smart TV shows a live feedback on the status of the laundry machine. so we get to know if any of the machine is available or the amount of time left for our washing to be done in the comfort of our room. the room is quite small for 2 adults and 2 children but this is a business hotel and in city centre so we should not expect the room to be very big.
We'd specifically chosen to stay at the Nagoya Prince Hotel Sky Tower for its train station views and oh my gosh it didn't disappoint!! We were mesmerized looking out the windows!
The room itself was very comfortable and quite possibly the largest hotel room we've had outside of a ryokan, we all agreed that we would jump at the chance of returning!
The hotel was located near Nagoya station and connected by an underground mall which was really handy to walk to the station when it was raining. We visited for the F1 so it was great to be close by Nagoya Station. The staff are brilliant, super helpful and the room is comfortable with some nice amenity touches,
The stay was excellent and the hotel is at an excellent location, 5 mins walk from the station. The staff are friendly and the room had everything one can need for a comfortable, smooth stay. The Wi-Fi was also super fast. Highly recommend APA Hotel for any visit to Nagoya.
The property was conveniently located right across from the Nagoya station. The bedroom. was bigger than most Japanese hotels . The breakfast was really good and the staff was extremely helpful.
Very close to Nagoya Station. Very convenient. Room is cozy.
Not many hotels give you extra towels, water bottle and tea bags if stay longer than one night but they did and it was a nice touch.
It's easy to get to the hotel from Nagoya station. Twin room was more spacious than I expected (though I stayed alone) The room was nice and clean. I will consider to stay here again next time.
The Hotel is very comfortable and across the road from the Nagoya Train station. There is an underground walkway from the hotel to the train station for rainy days. Staff are very helpful.
Close to the Yabacho Station, Sakae Station, Fushimi Station and Nagoya Science Museum.
Many shopping places and restaurants near the hotel.
The facilities meet my expectation.
The beds are really comfortable. You have a spacious and very clean bath. You will get a LOT of towels! The hotel is just a few minutes away from Nagoya Station.
Location was great since the hotel was near the Sakae station. Moreover, the hotel was also neat the Nagoya TV tower and the Sakae Chika underground mall.
