Great set of ancient temples from Greek period in the archeilogical zone in Paestrum. They are next to the train station. The entrance fee is 20€ for family ticket. There are nice beaches nearby but you need a car to get there. Also there is a famous farm where you can visit animals and buy diary products - near the road between Paestrum and Capaccio.MartaPoland - 10Scored 10

It was peaceful staying on the mountain and busy enough down in the Capaccio - Paestum area. It is essential to have a car but good rail connections from Paestum and Capaccio Scala to Salerno & Naples.

Kudos to the hosts as they made our trip around Italy unforgettable! We had our breakfasts quite early as we had guided trips to the other cities and towns.
