The hotel was well located. It was clean. The bed was very comfortable. And the facilities were excellent for the price. There is also a good Mexican restaurant across the street.

There was a man working the breakfast area who was so very kind and pleasant. I think Charles was his name. Quite an asset.

We were just passing through and looking for a clean...
We were just passing through and looking for a clean comfortable place to get a good night sleep and a decent breakfast before continuing our trip. The room met our expectations but the breakfast was the worst that I've had in a long time. They had a poor selection and didn't have glasses of forks. People were using waffle measuring cups for their drinks. I asked a staff member if she could get us some forks and she was very rude. All she would say is we don't have forks. I would recommend staying here if you don't plan on staying for breakfast. Also, check your credit card to make sure that you are being charged the rate the you agreed on when booking the room. I was overcharged approximately $40. Fortunately, I noticed this and was able to get the charge changed.

The Marriott was very convenient to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, the reason for our visit was my husband’s heart surgery. The restaurant was great and met our dinner needs, but breakfast was too early to take advantage of. I lived in Roanoke 56 years ago, Much had changed, but folks were still friendly and helpful. Thanks Roanoke

We initially came for a three night stay.
We initially came for a three night stay. My husband had a heart attack the first night so he went to the hospital and I stayed for five nights.
They were very helpful and accommodating under the circumstances. They let me move to a larger room when my daughter joined me. Let me add/subtract nights on short notice. Gave me a medical discount . I could not have asked for better support. Thank you . I will stay there whenever we visit Roanoke.

We live in a nearby town.
We live in a nearby town. And make several trips a week to Roanoke. Often wish we lived there to save the commute (But then we like our own house too much). There is plenty of great food and entertainment in Roanoke. We like Atlanta and Dallas too, but on a smaller scale Roanoke competes well and is WAY WAY WAY less hassle. Pick up a copy of the Roanoker for lots of tips on food and entertainment. We always take guests to the Mill Mountain Star and the Train Museum.

Roanoke has the best of both worlds.
Roanoke has the best of both worlds. You can be downtown and experience wonderful restaurants and boutiques, or you can go up to Mill Mountain and visit a Zoo or the famous Star!! They also have the river so you can do things on the water. There are many trails throughout the city.
I actually stayed at the property because the property did not actually have accommodations for a handicap person with mobility issues. While a room was available it was on the third floor and for some reason the property does not have an elevator or escalator. According to the person at the front desk, the city of Roanoke, VA does not require elevators in hotels with three floor. How is that ADA compliant or even accommodating of any customer with luggage.
Overall the stay was excellent. The room was neat & clean and the owners made it extra comfortable. They personally made sure all things are to the best. It was like a home away from home. The location is quite convenient, Subway and Starbucks is at a stones throw and the downtown is just 2 miles away. I enjoyed the stay and will re-book the next time.
I don't get luxury experiences very often and was at this hotel solely because my daughter's thought it looked like a castle and love hotels. The staff was super kind and patient. My daughter's had a great time and everything we had from the kitchen was fantastic. They are extremely picky eaters. It was an experience on its own
This Days Inn is best for its location when traveling on 81N through Roanoke. Although the noise didn't bother me, I could hear the traffic on the highway from my room when the A/C unit wasn't humming. It is a basic, clean hotel - just what I needed for a one-night stay while traveling. I felt safe and comfortable while there.
For known location and hotel brand honestly it def wasn't bad. Felt safe. No sketchy people. Clean. Lots of cheaper hotels in area have the issue of being basically trap hotels. This didn't have that aura or obv signs of ppl lingering around. Staff was genuinely friendly which always nice and hard to find even at Hiltons lol
Nice new hotel, near almost everything in Roanoke. Spacious, clean room had everything we needed and expected. The beds were super comfy and the sheets were so soft.
Front desk staff was friendly and professional. They made several recommendations for places to see, eat which added value to our visit.
I liked everything about the place and the staff. Very clean. Excellent staff. Great amenities. Very safe. Great parking. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Close proximity and within walking distance to lots of places. Absolutely recommend this hotel if you are ever in Roanoke.
It's relatively close to the heart of downtown, you can walk it if you have to. Not as nice as Hotel Roanoke or Doubletree, but half the price of either on this particular weekend. Definitely a step up from the "budget" motels in the same area, and worth the extra money over that choice.
We truly loved the location in relationship to the city of Roanoke. Also, the room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. The breakfast food was excellent and the hosts were very accommodating. It felt like a home away from home.
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very personable. There's a very convenient walkway from the front of the hotel over to downtown Roanoke shops and restaurants that made for a very relaxing couple of days.
We love this hotel. Great location with a delicious Mexican restaurant next door and we just found a walking park on the next street. Right off the 81. Clean, convenient and cheap.
Our go-to hotel for dance comps due to close proximity to the civic center and the Jefferson Center. Clean, comfortable and updated rooms. The staff is always very good.
Location was excellent, easy to walk to downtown restaurants.
Parking was not included, but easy enough to organise.
Views over Roanoake were great from the 7th floor.
The suite room layout was perfect. Very clean. Everything worked. Great amenities at hotel. We could have gone cheaper...but why. This place was perfect all around.
