The best thing about this property was the location to Coolidge Corner being close to the T green stop, Trader Joe’s and restaurants.
I liked the living and dining room area to hang out so you weren’t limited to staying your room.
Getting into Boston was close and easy.
The guest house was comfortable but there is no personal touch of staff or a handmade breakfast that would be expected at most B&B’s as compared to staying at a hotel.
The owner did make an effort to provide breakfast earlier for those of us running in the BAA 5K or Marathon, though she was never present.
It was enjoyable to meet other guests at the large breakfast table but most of us went to Trader Joe’s for breakfast items and more healthy choices.
Coffee was not available until 8am which I felt was a bit late.
The staff (Maids) were very eager to help but most spoke little or no English.
If you are ok with a do it yourself place it was fine.

I came for medical treatment, and the facility was near Longwood, I could have walked to the hospital if I chose to, about .8 miles or 15 minutes. The building is older, unremodeled, but clean and charming. There are restaurants and shops nearby; eg Bar Cino is five minutes walk or less, and very good. I used uber but tram and subway stops are within about a block. I would have tried public transport but this was my first trip and I was uninitiated. This place represents a good value for basic accommodations, given the high cost and limited availability in the area, otherwise, and I understand they provide parking which would be important if I had driven as on street parking seems unavailable overnight.

If you are visiting a child at BU or visiting nearby colleges it’s perfect. Lots of places to see and things to do in a short distance. I like that the manager Ivette actively sought my feedback and asked what they could do better. Their new wing (where we stayed) has some glitches and she really wanted to know what could make our stay better for next time.

The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice !
The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice ! The staff was nice! I felt like my room #314 was mediocre.
Three huge stains on the carpet the moment you walked in. The bathroom was the worst part. The room was over looking the lobby with windows that didn't open at all. The shower was nice but could be fixed, toilet ran all night. Sink looked like it was going to detached if you breathed on it. Don't think the room was worth the price regardless of location.

Brookline is super cute.
Brookline is super cute. Lots of restaurants and parking are available. It's also very close to Boston, so that you can explore both areas. Brookline has a quaint, small-town feel that complements the city feel of Boston. Best of both worlds.

Location was great, close to BU, next to Green Line (C) - St. Mary’s stop, had all the amenities, robes, towels, nice clean sheets on bed, soaps, toothbrush, fridge, microwave, Keurig and coffee, room was very clean. Tatte Bakery is down the street- food there is amazing, pastries are to die for.
Bathroom could be cleaner. Although, it was fairly clean. I would stay again in Room #1
Renewed townhouse, very well kept. 45/50 minuted walk from downtown but a very pleasant walk, and well connected with the green line. No breakfast but there is a common kitchen or plenty of places around where to get a coffee. Been there with my mom and we like walking around so the position was great to explore different part of the city.
Very nice vintage hotel in a quiet Brookline neighborhood. The decor was beautiful and the entire place has a homey feel. There is a kitchen for those who wish to cook their own meals.
Barbara at the front desk was friendly and helpful and helped us get our bags to a 3rd floor room.
Rooms were comfortable. Would stay here again.
Excellent location close to the Brookline Village T stop on the green line (D). Our room was spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is small but warm, excellent for kids. We'll definitely be back!
The room was gorgeous and wayyyy bigger than I expected. I chose this hotel because it was cheap so, my exceptions were pretty low. Huge bay window and beautiful old world feel. Authentic vintage encyclopedia set on the bookshelf. What a appeared to be a vintage globe and a unique fire place(not for guest, obviously.)
Very nice inn in Brookline, 20 minutes from the Museums and Fenway Park and close to lots of shops and restaurants. Easy check in and check out, parking free round the back. Room was cosy and clean, with all the basics. Kitchen with free hot drinks available for communal use 24/7. Would definitely stay again :)
The hotel was lovely-pleasant aesthetic, excellent location, room was comfy and clean. The double tower executive room had excellent light/windows. The staff was so kind, accomodating, and professional. The lobby in particular was a nice place to spend time.
love the hotel!!!! it’s a beautiful house, really nice and comfortable rooms. you will find everything that you will need. helpful and friendly staff! good location also, close to subway/tube. the parking was really appreciated!!! I would stay again!!
The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfast had everything you'd want (including alternative milks, like almond and oat). The hotel is very close to the T, making travel within the city very easy.
NOTHING !! It was OLD DUSTY SMELLY DANGEROUS and av HAZZARD. THE FIRE ESCAPE WAS IN MY ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR. PLEASE NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!!
The entire building has recently been refurbished so everything is new. The room was clean and big. There was a wardrobe, kitchenette, tv, large bathroom.
