The breakfast choices were great. I didn't care for the egg selection (the potatoes or hashbrowns, whatever they were supposed to be, were terrible), but the yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit selections were great. Staff kept everything stocked or cleaned during breakfast time, Staff was great without seeming to be hovering. Excellent!

We love the desert. The restaurants are outstanding and everyone is very kind. And overall streets, sidewalks very clean. No place on earth like the desert. We love to eat at Armando's, The Daily Grill, the Grill in Old Town La Quinta. The Illegals and the homeless that’s for sure

We stayed in Palm Desert because we were going to the Powertrip music festival - which was amazing! We did manage to do the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and also visit the Palm Springs Air Museum - both of which we'd highly recommend visiting. There are lots of restaurants and food chain outlets so more than enough choice to eat out. We liked the California Pizza Kitchen for it's pizzas and reasonable prices. Next time we'd certainly stay longer in the area and see more of the amazing natural sights like the Joshua Tree National Park and also the Salton Sea.

It was the first very hot weekend in June and it might have been too much heat for my grandkids. Thank goodness for the pool and the Aquatic Center. The Living Zoo was an amazing experience, however, it must be seen as soon as it opens.
I will definitely go back to Palm Desert and stay at the Residence Inn, it was a lovely get-a-away from our coastal fog!

Very nice room with super comfortable bed, and a spacious balcony facing the snow-capped mountains. Close to the pool, where the take-out food was good. (It was too cold to swim) I was in Palm Springs for a concert at Acrisure Arena and the drive was very quick. I have stayed in all of the other Marriott Properties in the area over the years and this one was particularly clean, convenient, and the staff was helpful. The only downside-- there wasn't a lot of parking close to my unit but the short walk was fine.

The accommodations you stay in makes the trip even more worthwhile. Palm Desert has everything you need. Manuel was great---answered the phone when I had a question. This place was rated at 3 out of 5 stars. It is easily a 4-5 star place depending on your current style of living--We had a great time-----
Arriving at this hotel after a two week adventure through California was a beautiful gift. The resort is like an oasis in the desert. Our rooms were beautiful. We had laundry, kitchen amenities, patio, and ample space for our family of 6 to relax and enjoy. Upon arrival, the kids were excited to explore the multiple pools. We walked to the pool within our area where we enjoyed night swimming while watching the latest Spider Man movie. The hotel is more resort than hotel.
The desk staff was great, check-in was super easy. The location was about a half mile from I-10 and very convenient to Palm Desert and to Palm Springs via city streets. Rooms were quiet and sound insulated except for the adjacent rooms' doors slamming and the occasional rude guests' loud voices in the hall. Many restaurants and other shops were located nearby. Several university campuses were within half a mile.
we booked this hotel for Coachella, but this place and hostess Kim was amazing, way more above than I expected for festival season.
we could drive easily to Coachella parking lot, neighborhood was safe and beautiful, this hotel has everything we need, and we could enjoy breakfast every morning. Finding this place was one of the best thing I've done for thi s trip. I wish we can come back again in the future!
The facilities looked new and fresh. Loved the Dove soap and lotions in the bathroom, and the 100% cotton towels were amazing. The bed was so comfortable, and I appreciated the 2 types of pillows to choose from. And I was especially impressed with the window shades, which kept the room dark in the morning so much better than the black out curtains in other hotels
The property is very clean the service is amazing. From the front desk to the room service. The breakfast is amazing too. They have everything you could think of from scrambled eggs to waffles. Very clean and up to cdc guidelines. We have stayed in so many places in Palm desert but by far residence inn has been the best. We will definitely be back!!!
I’ve travelled the world, stayed in great places, but nothing tops this place - Kim is the most gracious and helpful host imaginable, the grounds and pool are a serene oasis, the location from all the fun of palm desert. I can see why place is always booked, feel lucky to have got in, and hoping for another stay, soon!
Great pool area! Spent all day with the kids and family. Loved the options for the kids area. My son loved the activity room close to the pool in case they needed some down time.
Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Beds were sooo comfy! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to go away with kids/family/friends.
This hotel is a throwback to a time where they constructed rooms around a beautiful pool area. I have stayed in more beautiful, updated rooms on this trip, but I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place the most. It is just a really cool little place.
Room was very clean, bed very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. Washer and dryer in the room! Parking was mostly covered, a plus in a place like Palm Desert. Really liked The Quiet Pool. No kids, games, toys, music.
The staff was great and we enjoyed the facilities including the pool and hottub. We had our bikes and were able to cycle east to palm springs and west to La Quinta so loved the location too.
Very comfortable and nice hotel. Accesible and very close to a Walmart, restaurants, shops, etc.
Had breakfast every morning, with a small variety, but very good.
I loved the tennis resort this property is connected to. The pickleball courts were perfect. Walking to El Paseo street, it's the Palm Desert Rodeo Drive.
It's close to quite a few restaurants and d shops. The staff was courteous ans we liked having breakfast in the hotel. The pool and spa are nice enough.
