Burgos was a great place, some historical Churches, the vibe of the city was great. Had to get our head around the restaurant opening and closing times, but once we knew it was alright. Yes I would recommend this city to friends.

Found a lovely place to eat Pinchos (tapas) very nice and not far from the hotel. The city is beautiful with so many buildings of architectural interest. Only staying one night whilst travelling through Spain was not enough time to appreciate everything the hotel had to offer.

We went to Burgos for the Cathedral and were not disappointed. The City centre is pedestrianised so it was easy to stroll around and find good tapas bars. There is a riverside park which must be lovely in the Summer.

Burgos is an historic city, still with lots of lovely buildings. It is quite small, so easy to get around. The centre is partly pedestrianised, has lots of restaurants, bars, squares and parks so is very tourist-friendly.
The cathedral is splendid but not really to my taste. The new Museum of the Evolution of Man shows off the recent local discoveries of prehistoric
hominids which are by far the oldest in Europe. But it's aimed at adults, especially Spanish-speakers, not so much families.
Burgos celebrates its most famous son - El Cid - and being on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

I liked the old town, its plethora of Romanesque churches and the Cathedral. I really liked the museum that was opposite our accommodation in Calle Miranda. For just one euro one can see artifacts from celt-iberian peoples, Greek, Roman and Spanish Medieval. All this is housed in a 15th century residence of a Canon from the Cathedral.
There was some great places to eat. I highly recommend Cerveceria 100 Montitos.
The location was great. 10 minutes walk to the centre of Burgos. The room was good and clean with everything we needed and the bed was very big. But the best thing were the staff, really friendly and helpful. They looked after our luggage when we had checked out so that we could have a final walk around the city. I know that every hotel does that but they were so nice and a credit to the hotel.
I would absolutely stay here again next time we come to Burgos.
A great location in terms of how central it is. My room had a fantastic view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is being renovated, so at the moment, parts are a bit shabby, but I think that will improve. It doesn't serve breakfast, but there is a cafe on the ground floor that does, which is open much earlier than most cafes in Burgos and is better value than the usual hotel breakfast.
Location was very good, close to main Burgos bus station and city centre and cathedral. Staff at reception couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. The overall look of the hotel on entry was quirky, quite old fashioned and all the better for that. Overall, a comfortable little gem at a reasonable price. Happy all round with my stay. Would recommend to fellow travellers.
We have stayed at Hotel Maria Luisa many times when in Burgos. Location is good and about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral/Plaza Mayor area with many bars and restaurants. Best of all, the hotel has parking available (for a fee) in the car park across the street. A modest breakfast buffet is served at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
Great stop off in a handy location just minutes outside of Burgos. The hotel facilities were good, decent sized room, very clean.
Attached to the hotel is a Cafeteria serving a fairly extensive, reasonably priced menu, which was very popular. The food was good.
A perfect spot, not too busy.
Easy spot to offload luggage and a short drive or 2 min walk to big underground parking.
Café in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices .
The staff was most helpful. Definitely will stay there again.
everything was perfect specially it’s very very very closed to main city center and specially it’s easy to find any restaurant there so i will prefer to everyone if someone is going Burgos to visit or stay book that hotel best hotel
The renovation of the hotel is perfect. It is really a magic place even though it is closed to the highway. The staff is amazing and very dedicated. The gothic swimming pool is beautiful.
Burgos is at 5-7 min by car which is a plus
The cleaning team, the receptionists and the night staff were extremely kind, warming and helpful. And the big plus was a charge-free welcome for the pets. A hard to find in Spain.
A central location of the hotel is also bonus.
The setting of this hotel is second to none, right next to the cathedral in Burgos. The rooms are very comfortable, and clean - I had the best night’s sleep in a while! The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Staff were excellent. Very helpful, friendly and welcoming to us and our dog, even though we speak maybe 10 words of Spanish. Burgos is a great little city, and the hotel is conveniently located.
The location of the hotel was perfect. We were centrally located in Burgos overlooking the square right next to the cathedral. Our room was very spacious and comfortable.
One of the best 'cheaper' hostals I have stayed in. The staff are very helpful, the room clean and with two pillows. A comfortable bed and very quiet hotel.
An amazing hotel. Impeccably clean, staff attentive and accommodating. Close to the pulse of Burgos. Loved my stay. The breakfast was superb and included.
