Excellent location, just 5 minutes from Atocha Train Station. Two minutes to Botanical Garden, 5 minutes to Retiro. Everything is near. Very comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Enough elevators to not lose time waiting. I liked the design of the rooms, cozy and practical, and atmosphere of the lobby. Just like from the beginning of the 20th century. Not like many modern hotels that lack some personality.

Madrid became one of my favourite European city. I've alread been twice there and I just love it - the vibes, the food, the night and daily life. Good to know although is that not everyone speaks English so you need to be pacient or preparaed with some knowledge of Spanish :D

Used one of the Hop On Hop Off Tourist Buses.
Used one of the Hop On Hop Off Tourist Buses. Ideal for visiting a city for the first time. We also had a Madrid Card for public transport which is cheap and easy to use. Wide variety of eating places and prices were very reasonable.

Madrid is a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly city.
Madrid is a beautiful, pedestrian-friendly city. Public areas are extremely clean and well-maintained, as are major tourist sites. We wandered the central city day and night and felt very safe. There are many wonderful capital cities in Europe but after a recent tour, Madrid tops my list of favorites.

Spent a total of 14 nights in last 2 weeks of March.
Spent a total of 14 nights in last 2 weeks of March. We used it as a base to travel to several areas of Spain. So we were not able to see all of Madrid. We did see many of the sights along Gran Via. The variety of restaurants and shops in the central city is great. Had a few days of rain & weather was generally cool. Used both of the big train stations. Quite easy to travel throughout country. WARNING!! DO NOT STAY AT THE “SUITES YOU ZINC” HOTEL / VACATION RENTAL. IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!

Madrid is amazing and we stayed in the Sol area in the center of Madrid in the oldest Palace in Madrid. We walked everywhere and did the hop on, hop off bus to see the highlights of the old part of Madrid. Wasn't east to find the pick-up spot, but we already knew that after reading reviews. The food / beverage was great with plenty of places to enjoy local cuisine and specialty dishes.

Visiting our daughter who is here studying.
Visiting our daughter who is here studying. Did all the tourist things with her. Loved being able to walk, good food, fun to sit outside and watch the people pass. Lots of history and palace was fantastic.
The hotel is located just next to the Chamartín train station which is very convenient for me as I made quite a few day trips to small cities / towns north of Madrid. It is far from Madrid city centre but it’s quite easy to take the metro too, so for me it’s not a problem. It has a great outdoor pool despite the water being a bit chilly. The breakfast was fantastic with a lot of varieties, both cold and warm items. The hotel is of very good value for money indeed if you don’t need to live in city centre.
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Clean, beautiful, amazing facilities. Location is good, is in the financial center, close to airport and city center. We arrived in terminal 1, we took bus 200 to get to the hotel. Public transport in Madrid by default costs 1.5 EUR(and you can pay cash inside the bus). In order to get to the center we got the bus 53 infront of Cuco’s restaurant which is super close to the hotel and it was super easy to travel around. Highly recommended. Loved it?
As opposed to some of the reviews i read, I found this to be a great close to the airport stay. Some complained about the lack of elevator if you can't carry a bag up a few stairs maybe you should stay at home and the language in Spain is Spanish, learn a few words. There was great places to eat in a park setting just a short walk from hostel. A taxi from or to the airport is €20 so the hotel offers that service free I am 77 and just walked the camino so this stay was perfect
All the staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly , the gentleman who checked us in also gave us some recommendations of good Spanish restaurants nearby, sadly I forgot to get his name. The bar is very nice & so is the swimming pool. The hotel is 2 minutes walk away from the Metro which takes you into Madrid city centre and there are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We parked in their underground carpark which was secure and reasonably priced.
I was traveling for 15 days in Spain and France, and I stayed in 5 stars hotel suite rooms or family rooms in comparison with those luxury 5 stars hotels this apartment was Very clean and was well designed and equipped with high-quality stuff. Refrigerator and washing machines and microwave, everything was in the apartment and all stuff was clean. Air condition worked better than in 5-star well-known hotels. We are very sensitive to cleanliness and it was very clean.
This hotel provided me with exactly what you want for a stay in Madrid.
It is in the city centre. Breakfast good also a good restaurant ( other restaurants nearby ) for anyone with a car it has a garage .
However , it was cold weather , the room was kept warm but you do not have any way to control it.
Room on the 4th floor hot water took a long time to come through .
Bathroom a bit cramped for a double (2person) room.
Taxi stand just outside is very convenient.
The room: beds are really comfy, shower is very nice! And breakfast is really a must. We were not sure about the location since we feared it was far from city centre but we then were very surprised how well connected is with city centre. The hotel is in residential area, quiet and away from the noise of city centre for good sleep but easily connected with metro to main stations, so we really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid!
The hotel had modern style. overall it was very clean. the room was big and spacious. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. she answered all of our questions and demands. we requested for early check in and they made their best to do it. there is also complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. even though the hotel is far from the city centre it is close to the metro station and the airport.
I've been to Madrid a few times already but this hotel is the best! Perfect location! Within walking distance to places of interest (Plaza del Sol, Opera, Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel, Palacio Real, Gran Via, Metro Stations, shopping centers, restaurants, etc.). Excellent staff - from the reception to the breakfast crew to housekeeping. Hotel is very clean and the interior design is quite high end.
The location was ideal. A short walk to the Metro, bus stops and regional train service. It's also near a beautiful park and square, which filled with people on the evening paseo. The customer service was also exceptional - the best we experienced in our two week stay in Spain. Very responsive and the 24-hour desk was always staffed. Cannot recommend this hotel / apartments enough.
My score of 3 is based on the following two points: 1) the location is excellent. Near to everything in central Madrid but not quite dead center which means you can escape some of the hustle and bustle by staying here instead of being in Sol or on the Gran Via. 2) the breakfast is good value for money, though the breakfast room is possibly a little small for the size of the hotel.
it was approximately 50euros per night for a city centre location so if you have expectations of a 3* Hotel then this isn't the place for you. Location, friendly reception staff and facilities were fantastic. I would have no hesitation booking here again if I came back to Madrid
very good breakfast, related to 4 other hotels I took in Spain, this hotel offered one of the best breakfasts,
location is excellent, very close to all Madrid monuments... 10-15 minutes walk.
also close to metro station, where u can take a metro to Santiago Bernabeu.
We liked the fact that there was a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. Also the beds were very comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. The hotel is located in the city centre near Gran Via which means you have an easy access to shopping, bars and public transport.
We started our trip around Spain in Madrid. The hotel is within walking from aeroporto express bus (yellow). We travelled with another couple. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant for drinks and dinner and the lobby for breakfast.
Super nice apartment, clean and modern and well equipped. Excellent location on a quiet street a block from Gran Via. Best place I stayed in the 6 weeks in Spain. Juan was a super host.
Best location right in the intersection of gran via. Love love love the balcony and the view from our room. Picked the best hotel for our first time in Madrid.
