lyf Funan Singapore, hotel in Singapore

Ideally located in the Funan Mall, lyf Funan Singapore by Ascott features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a fitness center.

Rooms are very clean and cool design... easy access to MRT. Mall is not interesting for family visitors with small kid... but it's ok. Overall, it's good to book if coming with family. Service is very basic for the price we pay, but again, it's probably because it's in Singapore. Overall, it was a good stay and I'm looking forward to coming back again.. I am wondering how the 2 rooms that are connected inside a door... this is good for family.

FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

One of the cleanest and most organised cities in the world.

One of the cleanest and most organised cities in the world. All the tourists attractions that we visited like the zoo, bird paradise, night safari, universal studios, etc are easy to get to. They have taken great care to ensure a great overall visit experience. Above all it’s a very safe city especially if you are travelling with kids. If you like to explore local cuisine, be sure to visit the hawker centers - Newton food centre and Maxwell food centre. The Singapore chilli crab at the local chain at Jumbo was really good. We visited the one at Clarke Quay that has many restaurants. If you are visiting during the summer months, be prepared to sweat it out. It’s a great family holiday destination. There is something for all ages to enjoy.

Singapore exceeded my expectations during my recent 5-day...

Singapore exceeded my expectations during my recent 5-day visit. One of the standout aspects was the city's unparalleled safety and low crime rate, which contributed to a sense of ease and comfort throughout my stay. The culinary scene in Singapore is nothing short of spectacular, offering a diverse array of delicious cuisines to tantalize every palate. From hawker centers to fine dining establishments, the city's food options left me thoroughly impressed. Navigating Singapore's public transportation system was a breeze, thanks to its efficiency and convenience. Whether by MRT, bus, or taxi, getting around the city was a seamless experience, allowing me to explore every corner with ease. Furthermore, Singapore's commitment to cleanliness was evident everywhere I went. The pristine streets and well-maintained public spaces added to the overall charm of the city and made for a pleasant environment to explore and enjoy. Talking about culinary, I had the pleasure of dining at Lau Pa Sat, where I savored delicious Hainanese chicken rice and Indian cuisine. The affordability of the meals was commendable, offering excellent value for the quality of food served. Additionally, I enjoyed dining at Nando's in Bugis Junction, Capadoccia Restaurant in Arab Street, and Mr. Biryani in Little India, each providing unique culinary experiences that added richness to my stay. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Safari Night Zoo, an extraordinary experience as the world's first night safari of its kind. The immersive journey through the nocturnal wildlife was both educational and exhilarating, leaving a lasting impression of Singapore's commitment to innovative and memorable attractions. In summary, my time in Singapore was nothing short of delightful, and I look forward to returning to this vibrant and welcoming city in the future.

I eont understand the bad reviews and was very hesitant to book this place. I only booked one night to find out but regretted that it was booked out the other day. I stayed at 3 other hotels in the area and this is my favourite in terms of budget and value for money. Staff was cety friendly. Clean bathroom and room, no humidity or smell, good Internet. Modern furniture, decent bed and little Snack Bar. I will definitely book this place again and after multiple times in Singapore I finally found a budget hotel option to stay longer. Thanks.

We liked the price as everything in Singapore is pricey. We were travelling as a big group and were in Singapore for 18 hours, the airport hotels are so expensize and not for a long time, so this was a cheap alternative to get a good nights sleep. We were altogether in one room which was great so it was like a big sleepover. We couldn't hear any noise from the other room or even the bathrooms and it had a bonus simple breakfast. Close to Little India too, so we could just walk around the block to get dinner.

The location in downtown is ideal. The Shenton Way MRT station is nearby. Taxi is readily available outside of the lobby. We got upgraded to a suite which is probably bigger than an average apartment in Singapore. It came equipped with everything you can imagine including a full-size fridge with a freezer, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, cooking range & oven, and even a rice cooker! What else can one ask for!!! It's a 5-star hotel without the 5-star price. Highly recommended!

Our recent five-day stay at Le Grove in Singapore was exceptional. The spacious apartment provided the perfect retreat for relaxation after exploring the city. The hotel's shuttle service made it easy to access metros and bus stations, while the complimentary weekday breakfast was a delightful perk. The hotel's cleanliness and attentive staff further enhanced my experience. I highly recommend Le Grove to any tourist visiting Singapore.

To be fair: to Singapore standards this hotel is probably OK-ish. Having said that, there are other large, expensive cities in the world.... While they are wonderful top end of the range hotels in SGP, its seems that medium market level hotels are really difficult to find. Clover is probably not ranking too bad compared to the peer group. In order to enjoy, you must be a huge fand of damp / poorly aired rooms and tiny rooms.
