Our room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the airport and the monorail. The shower was excellent - a nice mix of Japanese and Western styles, designed to be pleasing to fans of either one. We opted for including breakfast as part of our purchase, and the food was excellent. The staff are extremely attentive and speak excellent English and Japanese. They kept our luggage twice, which was very convenient as we shopped and ate before and after our stay.

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!
Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.
Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.
For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.
Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.
The options available for food were great. Plan ahead of time as the local restaurants get full quickly. If you are vegan not many options are available. Do your research. I would recommend taking the bullet train although it's not cheap.

We loved Tokyo - the subway system makes everything accessible quite easily. Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park is wonderful. Lots of great city walks and culture. Food and drink is everywhere so no worries about going hungry! Ensure you have Google Maps and a Suica card in your wallet on your phone for the underground system and that will help enormously. Lots of great eateries are actually in the subway system.

Tokyo is a great place to visit for sights (shrines, temples, museums, gardens, shopping), and of course the food choices are delightful too. The city is easy to get around, especially with a PASMO or SUICA transit card.

As one of the very largest cities in the world, there is something for everyone here. We loved the shrines, parks, museums, food, and all things Studio Ghibli. The more you visit Japan (and Tokyo in particular) the more you realize how Japanese culture has impacted the West over the past 150 years. If you don't care about that, you can still have a great time here. Food: yes there is good sushi here, but there are a dozen other simple, affordable, and amazing cuisines that will knock your socks off. Tonkatsu is fantastic, Osaka-style Okonomiyaki is a surprise, and a bowl of ramen at a tiny family restaurant brought me to tears, it was so good. My teenage son has traveled extensively with us, and when we asked him where he wanted to go back to, he immediately chose Tokyo. My advice would be that your most meaningful places in Tokyo may not be the ones having the most Instagram influencers posing in front of them. Pick what interests you, then look for those things. You will definitely not be disappointed.

This felt like an older capsule hotel, but I found it to be pretty cozy. One of the cheapest accommodations you can get in Tokyo, and it’s in the active area of Ueno.
Ameya Yokocho Market is like a 5 minute walk, Ueno park around 7-10 minute walk, and Ueno station around 10-15 minute walk. There is a metro station about two minutes away from building.
WiFi was good. There are toilets and sinks on every floor. Washer and dryers are available in building. There’s like a work or desk area on the third floor, but it was pretty small.
Location is perfect for shopping around Shinjuku district but also good if you want to go to the other major shopping areas. I traveled from airport by taking the limousine bus, the trip was around 100 mins and the NEX at JR Shinjuku station to airport, both are very convenient.
I stayed at economy double for 1st night and move to a twin room when my husband join me, it’s much spacious and of good size for 2 persons.
A lot of restaurants nearby.
The hotel buffet breakfast provided good variety of food
Close to the Shinjuku station, so very easy to access. Typical entertainment area - the famous Godzilla statue cinema is around the corner. The hotel's lounge area is perfect for an otaku: mangas, anime DVDs all over the shelves. The hotel part very clean, less noisier than other capsule hotels. The capsule is plastic, a little bit noisy when you hit accidentally. The bed is fine...but the pillow is super old school japanese hard pillow...but within few minutes you can find out how to use to be comfy.
The location is right in the middle of Shibuya and right next to Meiji-dori which makes walks to Harajuku much more accessible. My room had spectacular views and could see Shinjuku, skytree tower and even tokyo tower from another window. I also loved all of the dining options near the hotel. If you're feeling american - eggslut on the 2nd floor. if you're feeling japanese, then there are many options on the third floor of the mall that's connected to the hotel. Location wise, you can't beat Sequence.
Great location just next to the Oedo train line. There’s a 711 just downstairs next through past the restaurant and spa. Room (triple) was spacious. Our flight was delayed and we rushed to meet the 12am check-in. The staff were still there when we got there at 12:10.
Love that there is a real hotel entrance with a driveway as we rented a car and this made it easier to load luggage. Many hotels in Japan don’t have this and driving and parking is a challenge.
This hotel is located in a central part of Shibuya and is easily walkable to Harajuku. It has a "cool" vibe with an Italian restaurant on the main floor and a coffee shop/bar on the ground floor. The staff were helpful when we needed them but generally hands-off as you check-in and check-out on computers in the lobby yourself. Our room was on the 13th floor so we didn't hear any street noise, which was nice. My husband and I enjoyed our stay overall.
This accommodation was a real bang for a buck!
The host was nice and welcoming, responding to messages very quickly.
The location was convenient and close to the main attractions of Shinjuku as well as the Shinjuku station.
For the price, the room was a decent size (fitting all five of us) and had more facilities provided than in most hotels many times the cost.
I will definitely consider booking again when I'm in Tokyo next time.
My husband and I booked this hotel for our honeymoon. Location was excellent and very near to Nihonbashi metro station as well as Tokyo station, making it convenient to transport our luggages to take the Shinkansen and Narita express. There were a few convenience stores nearby thus is was easy buy foods/snacks for breakfast/supper. As a nice gesture, they even provided complimentary sparkling sake as we were on our honeymoon!
I told the hotel that it was my husband's birthday and they put a handwritten birthday card in the room, which we found really nice. The location is great, just few steps away from the driverless Yurikamome station and another station that is Shinjuku/Shibuya line. We also used the massage chair in the room a lot until our backs were tender 😆 it was worth it. AMAZING VIEW from our window.
Location was great, especially for those exploring Shinjuku/Shibuya. Very vibrant nightlife. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Stayed in a standard double room -- non-smoking. My husband and I thought the room was a perfect size for us. This is not always the case being an American traveler in Japan, as Japan's hotel rooms are much smaller.
I loved the location of this property. It wasn’t in central tokyo, or the big cities, but it was so convenient. The subway station is only a minute away, and there’s a supermarket right behind the hotel as well. When heading to the bigger cities, such as Shibuya and Shinjuku, you need to transfer trains, but it’s very convenient nonetheless. I would definitely stay here again ◡̈
great places to stay in SHIBUYA, just 5-7 minutes walk to Shibuya Crossing and Shibuya Station; the room is super clean and the bed are comfy for a long day strolling in Tokyo. The drinking water are free to refill and you can do your laundry as well, Great Job All Day Shibuya for new comers hotels since 2021
The room was always well kept. Location was fantastic, perfectly located 5 minutes from the nearest train station and an easy train ride to anywhere in Tokyo. We spent a time in Akihabara, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, and many other neighborhoods in Tokyo, and the location of the hotel made traveling a breeze.
The location is great! Walking distance from Shimbashi station which gives you access to to pretty much everywhere in Tokyo very easily (including Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Asakusa, Akihabara, Harajuku, Disney etc…). The hotel is very clean and the staff is really helpful whenever you need them.
Location is great, near by Shinjuku station (connects to everywhere) and the same time away from the noisy streets, there’s a nice big public park across hotel with coffee shop and great playground if you hav skittle kids. Very convenient bus stop across the street to go to Shibuya.
Great place to stay for the price and a must you want to experience a capsule hotel, The location is great since it’s not too far from the main areas of Shibuya and not too far off from Public Transport Staff were friendly and the place offered plenty of amenities and storage.
Nice little hotel in a great location with very friendly staff. Our room had a microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine/dryer making our stay very convenient. The hotel is also very easy to get to with a 2min walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Toei Oedo Line.
Convenient place. Just 5mins from JR Otsuka Station (Yamanote-line). You can easily take JR loop-line to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Tokyo Station...
1 min to have Lawson Combini.
Convenient hotel with very necessary things, clean and new.
One of the best hotels we stayed in Tokyo, room is spacious, always well cleaned, breakfast was outstanding, location is perfect, near 3 metro stations, right inside the park
close to subway and sky train take about 30 min to Tokyo, Shinjuku and Shibuya
the 13 floor has ice , microwave, vending machine
7-11 at the hotel 1st floor
