Room was fine, no complaints. Breakfast was basic but served the purpose. The location is okay, but you need to walk for 20 minutes to Old Town trolley station if you don`t have a car. And it`s not a very pleasant walk. But the price for the room is very affordable in comparison to other hotels.

Sweeping along the coast against a mountain backdrop, San Diego has easy living down to a fine art. Its wonderful beaches and mild climate make it a favorite spring break destination, and with over 40 city breweries, there are plenty of ice cold beers to set the mood.
The city’s most recognizable landmark is the Hotel del Coronado, a wooden Victorian beach resort, now a National Historic Landmark. As original Spanish mission and first in California, it's has been relocated to the Mission Valley area, and Old Town San Diego still has many Colonial buildings and quirky shops. Also great for shopping are Horton Plaza and the boutiques in the beachfront neighborhoods.
The city’s most famous attraction is its zoo in Balboa Park, a few blocks from San Diego International Airport. One of the world’s largest zoos, it is well worth a visit, as is the fantastic SeaWorld, home to several killer whales. To see wildlife in its natural habitat head to La Jolla beach where harbor seals rest, or watch whales in season from Point Loma Lighthouse.
Just over the border from Mexico’s Tijuana, San Diego has a distinctly Latin American vibe and a variety of accommodations encompassing apartments, motels, B&Bs and hotels. See Booking.com for the best deals.

San Diego is so geographically diverse is so many things to do and go. The freeways are easy to use . The Mexican food and seafood is amazing. The beaches are beautiful, especially in Pacific Beach it’s so scenic . The restaurants are amazing shelter Island is a beautiful place to eat and to take a walk. The food is so delicious so many different cultures to choose from . Use Yelp to guide you to where go. San Diego can be very expensive plan your trip ahead of time. I would avoid Tour season April and September is the best time to come to San Diego to avoid the crowd .

San Diego is fun for everyone.
San Diego is fun for everyone.
We did the US Midway tour, US Marine Museum, Whale Watching and visited Downtown, Little Italy, Gaslamp district. Was fun, great places to eat at and enjoy the weather and coast. It is pricey, so if you're willing to take a hit to the wallet, it is an awesome place to be.

Due to our booked airbnb accommodation being disgusting we only got the one day there but we went to the USS Midway museum, this was fantastic and not to be missed, the Doubletree hotel was good all things right, only downside the resteraunt was extortionate prices and really spoiled the stay. Had to go out to eat but there was a small mall with nice shops and an assortment of eating choices about 5 minutes walk away, saved the day.

San Diego have really worked hard on making it a tourist-...
San Diego have really worked hard on making it a tourist-friendly city. Their tourist web site (SanDiego.org) has a lot of really good suggestions about what to do and see in the city and the surrounding area. We stayed in La Jolla which is a nice small town but has easy access via transit to the city. If you are in a car, there appears to be a lot of free parking for various attractions (e.g .Balboa Park, Old Town) and you can park for free in the Old Town and get to downtown San Diego in about 15 minutes using their excellent tram system. If you are driving, you can travel out to Coronado and enjoy the State Park there. Also worthwhile is a trip to the desert on Hwy 52.
Friendly staff. great place with many amenities at a great value. Attractive grounds, Free parking, free wifi, pool, laundry, cable tv. Our 2 queen bed suite had a microwave, mini fridge,a mini kitchen with counter top, sink, and 2 electric stove tops. Location located close to freeway(15 min drive to downtown San Diego), gas station, and shopping center. Also in walking distance to resturants. This is a great place for a family on a budget! You can go to the plaza and just grab food to heat up in your hotel kitchen.
The hotel is great for a long weekend trip as everything is at your disposal. The location was excellent, right on the beach. The hotel has a rental service of bikes, boogie boards, etc which makes it so convenient. Great restaurants all within walking distance, we even walked to Belmont Park which was a fun!
The hot tub was great too, as many evening it was cool, and having that was a nice way to relax.
The hotel remodel is modern, hip. The lobby is great to hang out and play boardgames, etc.
Very convenient location for exploring the area. Easy to find. Fun decorations. Convenient having a washer and dryer available.
The place was great for a short visit.
Please ignore the previous bad review of this apartment from somebody who didn't even enter the building. Yes, there are homeless people in San Diego. No, it is not the fault of the apartment or owner. There are many top tier hotels in the same neighborhood.
I enjoyed my stay, and felt perfectly safe.
LOCATION!!! This hotel is in the heart of Little Italy!! Walking distance to so many restaurants and coffee shops. If you have a car, this hotel charges $35/day to park it, which was more reasonable than the other big name hotels in downtown San Diego. You don’t even need a car since the location is perfect, but for exploring the beaches and other areas of SD, it might be worth it to rent one.
We arrived earlier than check-in and the front desk representative was able to get us into a room. This allowed us more time to explore Old Town San Diego. She was so friendly and provided us with information on thing to see and do.
We loved the area, hotel and all the amenities it provides its guest. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends and family.
The location of the hotel to the bars and the restaurants was so ideal. The staff was incredibly responsive and kind! I was surprised when I received a text from the hosts through my stay asking if there was anything I needed. Very accommodating! If I need to stay down in downtown San Diego again I will be staying here.
Excellent breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room. Very quiet and safe location. Good restaurants in walking distance. Very good accessibility by car at any time from the downtown area of San Diego. Excellent parking at the hotel. Very helpful staff and an excellent business centre (I had to print boarding passes).
Our room was very clean, and it was nice being able to step right outside and go down to the bay to eat our first meal in San Diego by the water. Everybody working in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they recommended some great activities for my brother and I to celebrate his high school graduation!
Great location: close to DTSD (downtown San Diego). Friendly staff & lobby felt very welcoming. Plenty of parking, felt safe. Hotel room was spacious & very clean. Wish I had more time to enjoy the pool. Would love to stay here again next time visiting SD!!
The location is great - I usually always stay in hotel circle when I go to San Diego. The overall outside and lobby is clean and staff is friendly. They allowed me to do an early check-in (1hr early) since the room was available which I appreciated.
Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We also liked the waffle spot. We like staying in Hotel Circle when we visit San Diego. The price is right at Kings Inn so we were happy we found a great place to stay.
Great hotel for short stays (business) in San Diego. Room was clean and comfy. Quiet location and very close to Little Italy (great place for food). Starbucks right across the street and a 7/11 is a 3min walk away.
The location is very close to the eateries and to the San Diego convention centre. Room was big and have all the facilities we require. A less expensive and comfortable option comparing many nearby hotels.
Really enjoyed our staying, we had a room sea view and it was simply amazing. Very cool place and atmosphere in the hotel, perfect location to move through PB, 20 mins from San Diego’s downtown.
Great location from everything we visited. 15 to 20 minutes from the beaches, the outlets, SeaWorld, and Downtown San Diego. The hotel is quiet and cozy. Walmart is just up the street.
