One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

I come to Boston mostly for work (excellent science), but also really like the city. I love running along Charles, and a lot of nice places in North end to dine or have a cup of coffee. Lots of museums/attractions. The city is above average noisy, but it is also very charming and has something for pretty much everyone.

Boston is a terrific city - good people and a wide choice of quality restaurants and wonderful history. I particularly enjoyed a walk through the grounds of Harvard and the Freedom Walk (which takes several hours but takes you through the city from Boston Common to Bunker Hill). I recommend doing the audio tour for $9.95USD. It stops and starts along the route by using GPS - great information. I also recommend Falafel King (you'll find it on the Freedom Trail route) - delicious, fresh grilled meats, salads in wraps. Their baklava is the best I've ever eaten.

People are so rude.
People are so rude. I'm a born and raised Masshole and a transplant southerner. I should be used to it.
However, when you're away from it for so long (5 years), you don't want to deal with it and find it disrespectful.
I almost got into a ton of fights:
Getting road rage from walking behind stupid people that feel the need to walk super slow (when there are appointments to get to) while they desperately feel the urge to take up an entire sidewalk. Can't walk on the street, I almost got run over more than once by cars not caring if you're in the crosswalk, they still come right at you. Some stopped. But not many.
One lady stepped off the T and immediately stopped to check her phone right outside the doors. Blocking everyone else from exiting the train. I had a few choice words for her.
It reminded me of why I left that horrible state of Massachusetts.

We loved our stay at the hotel Revere.
We loved our stay at the hotel Revere. The room was spacious, nice big comfy beds, nice city view and location of the hotel was excellent in walking distance to most sightseeing and public transport if needed. We dinned at the hotel restaurant a few times and enjoyed the food. We also had a couple of drinks in the bar. In general a very pleasant hotel and there's free coffee or tea in the lobby❤️there's also a rooftop restaurant but it was closed for the season when we stayed. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Boston

We came to Boston to attend a concert at the MGM venue.
We came to Boston to attend a concert at the MGM venue. We spent two days seeing the sites but that was not enough to take in everything. What we did see was worth the time. We took the Hop-on Hop-off trolly tour, but it would have been less expensive and more convenient if we had used the Uber or Lyft rides and this would have allowed even more time to enjoy the sites we visited. We also attended an unplanned tour of Harvard University. I my opinion this is overrated. The young lady (Anie) who was our tour guide did a great job, but they were doing yard cleanup with machinery and a lot of what she said we couldn't even hear.

Boston is so accessible, I loved it!
Boston is so accessible, I loved it! I’m not used to being able to walk anywhere so having so much right outside the door of the hotel tickled me to death. I wiped exploring their transit options, trying many many cocktails in the pubs, and enjoyed some amazing food. I really love Boston and I’ll definitely be back. Preferably when it’s a bit warmer.
A great new, contemporary hotel for walking around the seaport district and downtown & Boston harbor. There are many excellent restaurants are within walking distance. I had a nice-sized king-corner room with a lot of glass. While there was not a lot to see out the windows...the room was large, quiet, comfortable, and bright with floor-to-ceiling glass. While I did not make it up to the rooftop bar...it did draw a crowd on the weekend and looked to be interesting. If you would like a new contemporary hotel ... this would be a good choice.
Situated a short shuttle bus ride from Logan Airport, the hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Boston. The staff were friendly and professional, the shuttle bus drivers were great and the bus can be used to get to a nearby metro station. Rooms are big, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks. The laundry room was useful and the evening bar with food available to purchase meant that you don't have to find a restaurant in the evening after a long day.
Hampton Inn Seaport is an excellent location for walking to the convention center, and easy access to downtown Boston. We walked along Summer Street to central Boston at night, about a 30 minute walk. Uber or Bus #7 are convenient for returning to the hotel from downtown. Several restaurants are nearby including Harpoon Brewing. The hotel is clean and fresh with helpful staff. Excellent breakfast each morning during our 3 day stay. We parked at Marine parking garage, an easy walk from the hotel.
We love staying here after long flights. The harbor view from the room was spectacular. The rooms are huge and comfy. The restaurant is excellent. The staff are super-friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very close to the airport with a continuous shuttle service. I you want, the water taxi to downtown Boston is right outside the door.
It's not exactly cheap, but the price is quite reasonable considering the room, view, location and restaurant.
(See photo for the view from our room.)
I like the location. Everything is all connected the mbta green line train to downtown Boston enabling me to connect with the red line train and the commuter rail. A variety of restaurants within the prudential center. Cheesecake factory California pizza kitchen cold stone ice cream CVS the list is endless. I chose the location because our bus from New York which is operated by coach company picks up and discharge at the Sheraton Hotel. I plan to come back in the near future.
The staff members were extremely helpful. They explained how we could take the hotel shuttle to the train station to go into downtown Boston for sightseeing, and they stored our luggage securely since we checked out early in the day but came back to catch the airport shuttle for our flight. The room was lovely and super clean. There is a restaurant for the evening meal with a friendly waiter. Breakfast was very nice, too. Highly recommend.
For the category of hotel close to the airport to rest between flights, probably one of the best we have stayed. Very comfortable and clean room, good options in the restaurant, timely shuttle service and an incredibly fast check in. I forgot to ask his name but the receptionist was top notch and made the whole process dressing all our questions in like 3 minutes. Definitely suggest for a stay-close-to-airport in Boston.
The location, first of all, cannot be beat. If you need to be in the center of Boston and are on a budget. This place is perfect. It's not a luxury experience. But it's safe, quiet and the wifi worked without a problem. The a/c and heating worked, the shower worked great - good water pressure and temperature. If you like no-frills and amazing deals hotel travel, this is a great place to stay.
Stylish Boutique hotel, located 15min walking distance to Harvard University and its popular nightlife. To reach Boston city center, either 45min public transport or 20min taxi ride is required. Room was very clean and adequate in size. Wifi very good. The gym is small, equipped with basic stuff, but ok. Breakfast is ok, offered in a nice environment. Friendly, supportive staff.
The service was great and the overall hotel was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Right in the heart of downtown Boston and close to public transportation, restaurants, monuments, the Freedom trail, and other great neighborhoods.
Hotel was in a great location, right next to most of downtown Boston attractions. Room was much bigger than expected, easily accommodated all of us as well as our extra guest. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
The hotel location is very close to the harbor and downtown. Across the road, there are many bars that open till 2 am at night. So you can enjoy the nightlife of Boston.
Hotel is close to transit station and it's convenient to visit downtown Boston.
The fitness center is excellent and fresh fruits and water are provided every day.
Just outside of the Boston bustle & congestion. Close to the airport, but not an airport hotel. Around the corner from a Mall and Outlet Stores. Friendly staff.
