Toronto is a great city with lots to do. Their public transportation is easy to utilize and stayed on schedule. Been to Toronto a lot in the past but it has been quite a while since I’ve been back. It reminded me of what a great city it is! We only live 2 1/2 hours away so makes for a great weekend/ few nights trip.

It is easy to get around in Toronto by bus or subway.
It is easy to get around in Toronto by bus or subway. There are so many places to go and see in Toronto. I ate at the Spagetti Factory and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I travelled to the Eaton Center. It seems to be in the reconstruction stage but still much to see there and lots of stores I haven't seen before.

It's pretty boring unless you're really into the dystopia vibe. Everyone is obviously struggling and every ad on the subway is about debt refinancing, depression or changing careers. Not much to do otherwise. Do yourself a favor and go to Montreal instead.
Someone wrote in an autobiography that when they lived in Toronto in the 40s they wished they'd die on a Saturday so they don't have to endure another Toronto Sunday and honestly, I feel that.
The Beaches are nice, and there are a few passable restaurants.

Toronto looks like a wonderful place to meet people, for food & nightlife. The parks are nice but unless you bring a dog there are nicer places around the world for that.
Roaming the streets on foot or by bike seems very comfortable and there's heaps of shops, restaurants and cafes to make the stay worthwhile.
If you are a solo traveler with an appreciation for hipster life and culture this is a great and affordable hotel to stay in. I appreciated the Toronto cultural references in the Hotel e.g. maps, books, art and museum books. I have visited Canada 4 times, this being my 4th time. I felt that because I stayed at this hotel, I had a better understanding and experience of Toronto tourism and life. The staff were really cool, friendly and positive. I really recommend this stay for students and solo travelers.
The person that helped me check-in ( I think her name was Nikita? starts with an N) was wonderful and even put me in the 40th floor which gave me a wonderful view of the city. Room was pretty okay a little out dated but it was quite comfortable and spacious. Location wise is at the best spot since its at the heart of Downtown, Toronto. TTC & Streetcars are just outside the hotel giving you easy access to explore the city but also lots of walking distant to various attractions and restaurants.
The staff at the desk and restaurant very helpfull and polite. Providing us detailed attention and recommendations. The shuttle is very convenient for the Airport Breakfast varies from day to day and gives us the extra we didn't expected. We stay back at this hotel and would certainly recommend for a stay in Mississaugua. Petro Canada gaz station and convenience store just next door and bus stop at the street if you choose to take the Toronto transit .
The location was great. Not too far from the heart of downtown, it took about 25 min to walk to Rogers Center. The hotel is big, with exits going out on Bay Street and Yonge. Lots of restaurants along the way. Also about a 7 min walk from Nathan Phillips Square, where the light up Toronto sign is located. Also, we walked to Kensington Market from the hotel, which also took about 20 min. Taking an Uber is super simple, we just prefer to walk.
My recent stay at Holiday Inn Express Toronto Downtown was exceptional. The staff's warm hospitality and professionalism were remarkable. The hotel's prime location in the heart of Toronto allowed for easy exploration - close to walking distance touristic attractions and to subway station, buses and streetcar lines. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to each day. This hotel is a definite winner, and I highly recommend it.
It was an excellent choice for the money: not too pricey as similar level hotels in downtown Toronto, but very close to downtown - it took us about 18 minutes to drive from the hotel to the Yonge-Dundas square (Sunday traffic though), it's nothing for a New Yorker!:)
The room was big and nice, the bed was excellent, everything clean all around. Also, the check-in process took something about 45 seconds!
A beautiful hotel nestled in downtown Toronto. The room was absolutely clean and had a luxurious feel to it. During my stay, I wasn't able to go out to eat, so I stuck with room service for my meals and I'm glad I did. The food the hotel served was some of the best room service food I've ever had. The staff who brought the meals were professional and courteous, making the whole experience even better.
I loved the location, right in the Heart of downtown with access to the underground areas of toronto. The hotel itself was lavishly amazing, with marble floors and 5 star service that felt like you were a celebrity. The rooms were extremely open and clean and modern, it was definitely a hotel I could stay at for an extended period of time.
When we got there their hotel parking lot was full . Went to to find out what to do . One of the hotel staff took it upon himself to escort us to their staff and truck parking so that we had a safe secure place to park as this hotel is in downtown Toronto . He went above and beyond to help us out I really appreciated that
Very well equipped appartment with everything needed, perfectly located in downtown Toronto. It is very cosy, confortable and carefully decorated. The view from the bedroom is amazing. The host is super kind and thoughtful and was doing his best to make our stay perfect.
Would 10/10 recommend and would definitely be back.
The largest hotel in Canada, but everything is well organised and there is always helpfull stuff around. Size of the rooms is good for a city hotel. Bed was a little soft for our taste. The location of the hotel at the edge of Toronto downtown is outstandig, close to all the 'places to be', Yonge-Dundas, PATH, metro etc.
the hotel is very accessible to the airport, restaurants and transportation area...shuttle is available at anytime. starbucks is available in the ground floor.. the famous double tree by hilton cookie is also available in Canada!!yey!
confidently clean and sanitized place to stay with...
Location was easy by car (around 15min from Toronto downtown with no traffic; nearby airport), although not accessible by walk to any interesting place.
externally property is simple, although the rooms are new and very comfortable. very good value for money.
This is literally one of the best locations i could have stayed while in Toronto. The room was spacious enough and clean. close to restaurants and shops and also very close to the union station. great transport links to the airport and other cities in canada
The residence is located in the middle of downtown and thats a big plus! Toronto hotels are all very expensive and this seemed like the only option for me. There was security, so i felt save and it also had a good gym. also it offered a decent breakfast.
'Check-in' was a breeze, I had my room key pre-setup on my phone and just walked in and right up to my room. It felt like a cross between a traditional hotel and an airbnb. I think its pretty decent value for being very central in downtown Toronto.
Downtown genuine Toronto; no frills genuine Jazz venue - rooms almost a side issue. Very friendly and welcoming family ownership/management. Much better experience and value than the overpriced and impersonal global hotel chains.
The location of the hotel is great. It has access to the subway which will take you to Downtown Toronto in 20-30 minutes. In the neighborhood there are plenty of restaurants and things to do.
Booked this place because it was good value for Toronto hotels. It was walking distance to downtown Toronto which was good (but the area wasn’t particularly safe, especially at night).
