Traveled here for the Drake Concert.

Traveled here for the Drake Concert. I have to say, I have never traveled anywhere in the world with more miserable people. EVERYONE I came in contact with was extremely rude to say the least. After thinking about it, it could be because of the stance on Cannabis there. It's one of those places you travel to if you have to.

Pittsburgh was very beautiful and friendly.

Pittsburgh was very beautiful and friendly. We did not have time for any of the museums, so we will have to come again. We had events to attend. But for just exploring the city and museums, maybe 2 days would be enough. Great public transit.

We loved the Carnegie museums and Phipps Conservatory. There are many beautiful buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries and numerous parks. Two and a half days were not enough to see all we wanted to see.

Right in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. We saw a show at the Cultural Arts District which was only about a 10 min walk from the hotel. Any other neighborhoods in Pittsburgh that you decide to visit is just a quick Uber ride (though I notice my Uber rides were a bit on the expensive side). The building itself had a lot of elevators so we rarely found ourselves waiting long to get one. Plenty of times, we’d have a elevator to ourselves.

The building is a beautifully repurposed YMCA. The room was very well-designed to be both pleasant and functional. We had a view of the church across the street. The location is close to Shadyside, a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and interesting shops. If you don't need to be in downtown Pittsburgh, this is a very good location to use as a base to explore the city.

The Priory was a beautiful, old church manse near downtown. Rooms were large and comfortable. Everything was clean and pristine. Not a party place...in fact, you cannot bring in your own liquor. There is a bar on site but we never had an opportunity to visit. We had a van and driver to take us to and from the baseball park. If you are looking for quiet elegance in Pittsburg, this is it.

Liked just about everything about this hotel. First, it was clean! Second, biggest rooms i’ve stayed in. Third, the staff is super friendly. Fourth, plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Fifth, only 25 minutes from Pitt. Sixth, plenty of good hot choices at breakfast. Did I say this place is clean? Definitely will try the Drury Plaza downtown on our next visit.

The staff were so very friendly. The location can be tough to get to because of the highway barriers. My cousin picked us up and drove us in his car all over Pittsburgh: the hotel staff told us we could leave our car in the parking lot and come back and get it later. The cost of parking downtown is sinful so they saved us a ton of money.
