I liked Valletta: It has a lot of interesting historical points, its own style of architecture and was full of character. The place is relatively small and therefore accessible to a fit person. There are streets which are made up of steps. The city has many excellent bars and restaurants as well as small grocery shops. It also has a couple of theatres. The city is clean and safe. There is a very good public bus service connecting the city with the rest of the island.

What a magical city!
What a magical city! So much history and worth exploring around the Island to see the different influences. We left wanting more and are already planning our next trip. The local wine was a lovely suprise - we absolutely could not get enough of it! And the quality of food that we tried was exceptional. I don't know why I sound so surprised but I really genuinely came away from our weekend away thinking it was one of the best mini-vacations we have had. Not to mention how darned friendly the locals are.

Valletta is definitely worth a trip especially if you are interested in history and architecture. However there are also other parts of Malta that are worth going to as well as Valetta. Interesting, attractive and historical place to visit with plenty to see and do for a few days. Lots of places to eat and drink. Quite hilly so not good for people with mobility issues. Maltese people generally friendly and cheerful. Excellent bus service to visit other parts of the island. For those who don't do foreign languages, the Maltese speak English. Quire noisy so if you dont like noise at night consider carefully where your hotel is situated.LizUnited Kingdom

I liked that I could change my choice each day as I was there for 4 nights. Really helpful with keeping my luggage for me after checkout as I had an evening flight. Would recommend!

My room had a gorgeous balcony looking over a very picturesque street. Great central location in Valletta. I did not eat at the restaurant associated with the hotel but it’s very cute. There are many displays throughout the hotel of traditional Maltese costume and (presumably) some items from the family who used to live here.
