A little care worn, but well located property within easy walking distance of the Central Station and National Swiss Museum and walk along the Limmat River. Very tiny shower stalls and comfortable beds make the Bristol work at a somewhat budget price.

Zurich is in some ways the best of big city and the best of a small town. If your life revolves around outdoor activities such as hiking, wake boarding, sailing, bicycling, rock climbing, mountain climbing, etc. then it is by far one of the best cities to live in. It's incredibly close to all of these things.
It's also centrally located in Europe, so you can easily visit France, Austria, Germany, or Italy with only a few hours train ride. You will travel a lot.
The city itself is beautiful. It is cleaner and safer than any other big city in the world. A corollary to the cleanliness is that you will spend far more of your life figuring out how to get rid of your trash than anywhere else you will ever live. (I personally was never able to fold my paper-recycling neatly enough to get it picked up. I am not joking.)
The Swiss are incredibly organized. Even the Germans make fun of how organized and un-spontaneous they are. When the government or a bank tells you to expect something within two weeks, it will probably show up in your mailbox within three business days. You will respond to mail faster than you ever have in your life.
The core of the city is only about 400,000 people. It's small. You may find yourself going nuts if you come from a big city, or if you like a bit of mayhem in your life. While there are many different activities to do, they may only happen once a week.

Zurich has so much character.
Zurich has so much character. Unlike other cities around the world, which build so many monuments and attractions, Zurich is “naturally” beautiful!! I spent most of my days traveling to other parts of Switzerland, but while in Zurich I was able to tour the Rhein falls, Lindt chocolate factory, the lake, the shops and much more!

Beautiful city and very peaceful atmosphere.
Beautiful city and very peaceful atmosphere. It was clean and quite a lot of interesting sites. Great mix of both old and new! Very expensive though. An icecream will be 4chan for 1 scoop and 8 or 9 chg for 2 scoops. A burger and fries at McDonald’s is 15-20chf which we thought was ridiculous. We took a couple of really great bus trips. One day to Leichtenstein and another day to Rheinfall, both were amazing!

A lively city with many different areas which give totally different vibes. For book lovers: Great book stores and museum book stores. Lovely cafés and fantastic museums. A vibrant theater scene, especially small stages. Go for an early morning walk or run a long the quais. I love Zurich. It’s rough and elegant at the same time.
This hotel was amazing! I had a view of the Limmat and Grossmunster Church. It's close to everything, the tram, metro, shops, restaurants, museums and easy to get around. I would highly recommend and will be returning. And the bonus, the bed I had was an adjustable bed...amazing! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great as well. It's not far from the airport and easy to get to many attractions outside of Zurich. I have made great memories here as Zurich was on me and my late husband's bucket list.
we looked for a one nite in Zurich before our long flight back home the next morning. this hotel met our expectations for what we paid for.
staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, room size was comfortable for the family, the location was great with 10-15mins walk from old town.
Adan recommended a close by restaurant, which I must say was superb.
we chose not to have breakfast, because we had to drive early to the airport. However, they had free hot beverage all day at reception.
The hotel was good and new one probably. You can take a train from the city center and it takes only 10mins. You need to talk around 2mins from the train station. It was one of the cheapest option in Zurich with good quality in my opinion. I stayed in 4 beds room and it was comfortable. My bed was comfortable enough. The hotel stuff was very friendly and helpful. I asked some questions and they answered with pleasure. There is also kitchen in reseption and you can use it if you would like to cook for yourself.
The location of the hotel was great for travelers using the efficient Swiss train system and sightseeing in Zurich. Close to train stations, situated in the historic downtown with all its charm, close to the river and the Swiss history museum. The woman staffing reception was welcoming and helpful with answers to all our questions about restaurants, transit advice, and helping us get flight boarding passes. Her English was perfect, though she was able to switch languages for other guests as well.
Hotel Landhus came out to be a Great Suprise for us on our 1st day in Zurich. Maria was a Great Help !!.
Hotel has good rooms with balcony and wifi .
Breakfast is good for both veg & Non Veg .
She made a Great Effort when we Requested for a Vegetarian Breakfast .
Bus stand & Tram pickup point is just 1 min away from Hotel. From Airport 768 bus drops you right next to Hotel. Nearby Restaurants like City Point are open till 1 am.
We Really Liked this place .
the hotel is a few steps from the train station. a major
plus. there is a major tram stop right accross the street. so getting to down town and old town Zurich is a breeze. The rooms are quiet and AC works very well. the maid staff and front desk are very helpful. the beds are pretty comfortable for Switzerland. we highly recommend this hotel. the second time we stayed here. the breakfast was good and reasonably priced for Zurich.
Breakfast was continental, with good selection. Hot coffee /Tea, Selection of juices, breads, fresh fruit. All amenities were in room. Electric kettle, coffee maker, teacup and saucer, complimentary water bottle. 5-7 minute walk to Zurich main train station, 15 min on Train to Zurich airport. They also had a luggage hold after check out and a clean restroom in the hotel for guests to freshen up.
For the price I paid at Zurich it's decent hotel to stay not the best location but it's worth to stay.
-Very comfortable beds with two pillows (:
-Very clean room and bathroom have all the things you need.
-Well equipped room .
-Underground parking with two floors, you need to pay 24 CHF per/night but almost all hotels have no free parking at Zurich.
-Friendly stuff.
The room is clean. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is well done too. Really enjoyed the stay at H+ Zurich. While the hotel is a distance away from the city centre, but in return, the surroundings are quiet.. There is a supermarket nearby, massage place and it is also a quick ride to and from the airport. Rather convenient!
Very accommodating friendly& straightforward receptionist , it’s in City centre , from zurich airport take. Tram Number 10 (HB) and stop at Central tram station then from there take number 4 tram stop at belevieu ( only to 2 stops from there ) then that’s the hotel , close to the lake and lots of restaurant around its in perfect location.
This Zurich hotel was a walk of about 10 mins to the Lake and 15/20 mins to the Old Town limits. Good for airport/rail station. GREAT team - Ernesto and front of house, we were well looked after! Thank You. breakfast good/bar good. Contemporary room & great shower. I like a ‘quiet’ room and this was accommodated, room was v quiet.
The room was very comfy and the hotel is centrally located in Zürich. We were able to walk downtown in less than 10 minutes. There are also some great food options nearby. We stayed here for the night before our departing flight and getting to the airport from here was really easy with public transport.
The hotel is really interesting in terms of location, as it is close to a line that goes to the airport and another that goes to the city center, so for those using the Zurich Card it is a good option. The attendants were friendly, communicative and very pleasant.
The staff is very nice to arrange a nice room for us with gift card, such a nice gesture. Room is nice, hotel location is perfect, near everywhere, train station, airport, city center, famous restaurant. We dont even need to buy tram ticket
The hotel is located in a highly touristed area of Zurich's old town. While lovely by day, the streets fill up with drinkers, sex workers and drug customers at night. Located near train station, universities, restaurants and shops.
The reception staff was very helpful and English assistance was available.
I think we would recommend this hotel as the cost is fairly reasonable in Zurich and the access to the downtown and public transportations are very easy.
Large, warm (the design, not the temperature) room. Just off the city centre but walking distance from everything. 5 min walk to train station with 15min connection to the airport. Great value for money for a city like Zurich.
Very convenient location, value price, and comfortable bed. This was the perfect solution for a short layover night with an opportunity to explore downtown Zurich. Assuming you're comfortable with the 'Capsule Hotel' model.
Location is perfect , you can walk around the city center, old town , you do not need the train , hotel is in the middle of everyting. Close to the main train station , easy to reach the airport.
