Something important to mention is that the map location on...
Something important to mention is that the map location on booking.com didn't correspond with the actual location of the hotel I stayed in! so this is something to double check and rectify! Beihai old town was fantastic and shopping for pearls and eating out was wonderful-there are beautiful souvenirs, great food and architecture and it is the best place to buy pearls (bracelets, rings, necklaces, broaches etc...) A trip to the nearby Weizhou island is quite the treat but the actual beaches in Beihai seem to get way too/ridiculously crowded in the Summer and seem to be in a state of development with lots of construction taking place next to them!

I think Beihai is a nice city if I new that only two areas can get to the beach would have booked a place these areas you go to Beihai I think for the beach to relax enjoy the sea life , so careful where you book

I enjoyed the cool temperature of the Health Club pool and also the view of the beach from there. Location was excellent for beach days, literally across the road. Breakfast buffet was really good, diverse range of dishes. I also ordered from the room service menu and the food was tasty and delivered promptly. The design of the hotel was elegant and made for a pleasant experience.

The restaurant serves delicious food, and we really enjoyed the seafood feast! Delicious and fresh!
