One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

First off, we are from a small town in middle Georgia and Boston can be overwhelming for country folk like us. Those more acclimated to big city life would probably be comfortable navigating the city and more able to enjoy what it has to offer. We found our way to our hotel with minimal difficulty and even ventured out and found great food for dinner. We were there as a stop over between Cape Cod, Logan airport and home but would liked to have seen some of the historical points under other circumstances.

I come to Boston mostly for work (excellent science), but also really like the city. I love running along Charles, and a lot of nice places in North end to dine or have a cup of coffee. Lots of museums/attractions. The city is above average noisy, but it is also very charming and has something for pretty much everyone.

Boston is a terrific city - good people and a wide choice of quality restaurants and wonderful history. I particularly enjoyed a walk through the grounds of Harvard and the Freedom Walk (which takes several hours but takes you through the city from Boston Common to Bunker Hill). I recommend doing the audio tour for $9.95USD. It stops and starts along the route by using GPS - great information. I also recommend Falafel King (you'll find it on the Freedom Trail route) - delicious, fresh grilled meats, salads in wraps. Their baklava is the best I've ever eaten.

People are so rude.
People are so rude. I'm a born and raised Masshole and a transplant southerner. I should be used to it.
However, when you're away from it for so long (5 years), you don't want to deal with it and find it disrespectful.
I almost got into a ton of fights:
Getting road rage from walking behind stupid people that feel the need to walk super slow (when there are appointments to get to) while they desperately feel the urge to take up an entire sidewalk. Can't walk on the street, I almost got run over more than once by cars not caring if you're in the crosswalk, they still come right at you. Some stopped. But not many.
One lady stepped off the T and immediately stopped to check her phone right outside the doors. Blocking everyone else from exiting the train. I had a few choice words for her.
It reminded me of why I left that horrible state of Massachusetts.

We loved our stay at the hotel Revere.
We loved our stay at the hotel Revere. The room was spacious, nice big comfy beds, nice city view and location of the hotel was excellent in walking distance to most sightseeing and public transport if needed. We dinned at the hotel restaurant a few times and enjoyed the food. We also had a couple of drinks in the bar. In general a very pleasant hotel and there's free coffee or tea in the lobby❤️there's also a rooftop restaurant but it was closed for the season when we stayed. We would love to stay here again next time we visit Boston

Great city! I am a southern gal but I loved this town!
Great city! I am a southern gal but I loved this town! Much better than NYC! SO much history and I felt very safe everywhere I went. There is no shortage of things to do, places to eat, tours to take, shopping to do and people to talk to. Legal Seafood for the Clam Chowda is a must! Take the Freedom Trail tour and make sure your guide is Jeremiah Poope! Use the commuter rail and go to Salem for the Witch Walking Tour. Take the water taxis too. Take a trip out to Martha's Vineyard. I wish we had stayed the night! It is beautiful! It is a short 45 minute ferry to the island. You can rent a car and drive to the landing or take the Peterpan bus line to get you there. It is about 65 miles to cape cod to the landing at Woods Hole. Pleasant drive! I loved Boston and I will go back.
The property is very convenient to Boston commons and other popular spots. we felt like we were right in the middle of everything. The apartment was clean. and we liked having the extra living/kitchen space compared to most hotel rooms. As expected for a downtown apartment, the bathroom was small. We felt very safe in the area and there was a security guard in the lobby every night after 11 pm which we felt wasn’t needed at all, but nice added comfort. I would highly recommend if you’re staying in Boston!
Our family of four really enjoyed our four night stay in the luxurious and spacious one bedroom suite. The style of the hotel had an upscale New England flair and is located in a historical building. The beds with their down toppers were very comfortable. We appreciated the little extras like the Dyson hairdryer and heated toilet seats. The location was perfect for touring downtown Boston and the seaport district. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we’ll be back again soon!
Great hotel comfortable place and great location in Chinatown Downtown Boston it is feel likes in college in dorm rooms sharing with other people rooms and the price is very is great and near the metro lines and buses and near restaurants I do recommend this place to stay overnight and to relax and hangout with friends and to meet new people and good breakfast they have in the kitchen dinning room and it gave laundry room and pool table
The location, first of all, cannot be beat. If you need to be in the center of Boston and are on a budget. This place is perfect. It's not a luxury experience. But it's safe, quiet and the wifi worked without a problem. The a/c and heating worked, the shower worked great - good water pressure and temperature. If you like no-frills and amazing deals hotel travel, this is a great place to stay.
Stylish Boutique hotel, located 15min walking distance to Harvard University and its popular nightlife. To reach Boston city center, either 45min public transport or 20min taxi ride is required. Room was very clean and adequate in size. Wifi very good. The gym is small, equipped with basic stuff, but ok. Breakfast is ok, offered in a nice environment. Friendly, supportive staff.
The location of this hotel is one of the best if you are looking to stay close to Boston Common. It's beside so many shops, coffee shops and other many attractions. The plus for me was the attention and the good customer service. I would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel again and I would love to come back to this place.
The bed was comfortable. The room was larger than normal. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The decorations were cute. Everything in Boston is expensive, so while this hotel is more than I normally would pay per night, it was less expensive than those in downtown and had free parking.
This hotel is very close to the downtown area of Boston, Quincy Market, Public Market, Faneuil Hall , and other interesting places of Boston city. The whole staff was extremely kind and helpful. We had requested a suite which was comfortable and cozy even though it was small. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The views of Boston from the hotel are stunning. Rooms were spotlessly clean with everything you would need. Delightful toiletries. Gear access to airport with courtesy bus service. We also used the water taxi which was a great experience and value for money to get right into the heart of the city.
The hotel and complimentary services was astounding! Best hotel I’ve stayed in for the price. We didn’t want to leave. They offer free bus and boat shuttles to downtown Boston. The room, bathroom, and view were fantastic! Great complimentary parking and valet service.
I appreciate location
1-you have shopping centre behind the hotel
2-10 minutes walk to metro station
very useful we don’t need to use a car
in boston downtown the parking is expensive and hard to found
3- private parking 20$\night
the less expensive i found
The location near Logan airport is a plus and the primary reason we chose to stay here. It's reasonably close to downtown Boston, though driving in the city is a challenge and it's not convenient for public transportation.
The location was the main reason I chose this hotel. Great for midtown Boston, easy access to train, breakfast options nearby.
So far the best hotel I have stayed at in Boston.
Slept well in a comfortable bed.
Central location in downtown Boston with walking access to main sights, good food and nightlife. Public transit and citibikes are within one block. Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms and friendly service.
This hotel is in walking distance of main shopping street and 15 mins to downtown Boston. Close to subway stops and a good supermarket. MIT probably within walking distance across the nearby bridge.
The location of the Hotel is perfectly placed in the center of all the action of Historic Downtown Boston. On steps away from the Freedom trail and Quincy Market.
