Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, while maintaining their own identity.
Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is cheap and delicious dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.
For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city center. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.
As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo providing the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.
Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodations ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

Too hot to make touring comfortable.
Too hot to make touring comfortable. The grand city design is worth a visit if you like modern architecture. Relatively expensive and no natural out door activities suitable. Cruise ship a day stop and explore the center on your own seems most appropriate for such a city.

There is so much to see and do, way beyond just shopping.
There is so much to see and do, way beyond just shopping. The history is fascinating and we loved the national gallery. The free lightshow each night at Gardens by the Bay is one of the most amazing things we have seen and we found the people of Singapore very friendly and helpful. We loved the clean, super efficient MRT and dined well at the fabulous Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre. We did find Chinatown too full of souvenir junk but need to go back to explore it further. Raffles is lovely to visit but do be prepared to pay a lot for a famous Singapore Sling! Or just enjoy a coffee.

Singapore has tons to offer for families, couples and singles.
The food is great - and can be exceedingly cheap or expensive. That's up to you. Get out of the CBD - go to Geylang at least!
By the way, it's HOT!

“Beautiful country with friendly people.
“Beautiful country with friendly people. Plenty of places to visit and see. Bit expensive country, but you have value for money. People are well disciplined. Very clean country with no honking at all. Rail system that cover almost every corner of the country means it is cheap to commute via MRT. English is widely spoken but the best thing is you are safe."
We booked the hotel when we could not get on a flight fm Singapore to Sydney at Changi Airport.
Price was reasonable for a stay of 6-7 hours (overnight). Airport Hotels in Singapore are expensive; Hotel 81 staff were efficient n room met our needs for the purpose of our stay. Also, it’s on a busy street with local restaurants, coffee shops in vicinity even though we didn’t need it but the room was very quiet, possibly because we requested it n got a room not facing the Main Street. Reception staff were responsive and helpful.
The location in downtown is ideal. The Shenton Way MRT station is nearby. Taxi is readily available outside of the lobby. We got upgraded to a suite which is probably bigger than an average apartment in Singapore. It came equipped with everything you can imagine including a full-size fridge with a freezer, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, cooking range & oven, and even a rice cooker! What else can one ask for!!!
It's a 5-star hotel without the 5-star price.
Highly recommended!
To be fair: to Singapore standards this hotel is probably OK-ish. Having said that, there are other large, expensive cities in the world.... While they are wonderful top end of the range hotels in SGP, its seems that medium market level hotels are really difficult to find. Clover is probably not ranking too bad compared to the peer group. In order to enjoy, you must be a huge fand of damp / poorly aired rooms and tiny rooms.
This is my second time staying at the lyf Funan. The location is perfect and if you need anything you can literally step right into the mall and get it. Compared to other hotels in singapore, this is an excellent find if you're looking to strike a balance between cheap accommodation and a nice place. Well maintained and clean rooms with a comfy bed good for two people. You can also do your laundry there.
- extremely clean which is very important to me
- literally one minute to the Jalan Besar subway station (Downtown line)
- very close to two hawker markets
- quiet
- comfortable bed and pillows
- great shower and very nice toiletries
- free washing machine and dryer
- very good value for money compared to other hotels in Singapore
- close to specialty coffee cafe
We spent a month at Shangri la apartments, and we were very comfortable there. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful, the apartment had everything we needed, and we had access to the very well equipped fitness center at Shangri la Hotel. Everything on Orchard Road is within easy walking distance. We'll stay there every time we go to Singapore.
The amazing pools and how family friendly the hotel is. From check in to the day we left, service from all staff was warm and friendly. The room that we booked weren’t available, hotel offered complimentary breakfast and late checkout. Not many hotels in Singapore provides bidet in their toilets, the Toto Bidet made the stay even more awesome.
Very clean & spacious room. Location of the hotel is the best amongst all hotels I have stayed in Singapore over the last 39 yrs. A small.Mall in front of the hotel which has 3 VG resturants especially the Chinese Food restaurant. Also MRT station is across the street. Will stay here again on my next possible visit.
For those whom like to have a hotel very close to the center of the city , Clover the arts is perfect. I had a room without window, but you don't open the windows in Singapore, due to heat and moisture and you don't stay to much in the room, because the fun is in the city!
Located near so many local eateries and easy 5-10 min walk to the MRT (train). Also near to the bustling Jalan Besar and Serangoon Roads. As Singapore hotels in general are quite pricey, this place is more budget-friendly than many - and all while located more centrally.
I booked this hotel once arrived in Singapore for transit, not expect much but surprisingly room is spacious than any other Ibis hotel ussually. Front office staff was friendly and hotel surround some restaurant and convenience store made this short stay is perfect!
Loved the location so close to the MRT and being able to get anywhere quickly in singapore.
The pool was also a hit I have stayed in hotels in singapore before where the pool was freezing this one was a great temperature and perfect for a hot day
The hotel is quite well located, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. The rooms are large and well appointed. Room service food is excellent. This is one of the best hotels in Singapore, no doubt. And it's one of my two favorites.
I can't even imagine going back to Singapore and staying anywhere else.
This hotel and surrounding area are the most awesome things in Singapure
The swimming pool is no short of mind blowing
It is expensive, but worth every penny.
everything worked and the rooms were decent for the price I paid, comparing it to other hotels in Singapore.
the location is good, close to shopping centers and restaurants and cafes.
