Baku is a wonderful city!
Baku is a wonderful city! We were there for a week, but there was a lot we didn't have time to visit. Very kind people, always ready to help! We traveled as a couple, great place to spend quiet romantic evenings together! Very many parks and cats! I recommend traveling outside of Baku! A lot of beautiful nature! Local cuisine is excellent! The sakura blossoms in April!

Baku is an ideal route for a two-day stay. Gasoline is the cheapest price. . You can download and use the Bolt application for transportation. Azeri cuisine is normally very rich and delicious, but the restaurants could not meet this expectation in a way that I do not understand. The city is beautiful, it resembles European cities. Two days is ideal for exploring on foot.

But very careful for taxi driver who will make you tour always initially say very nice word as cheap price but at the end its too high price as I am being cheated by a tour agent who told to show me various tourist place but while i noticed he did split some visit places into multiple days to extract more money from me. So I request following tour will help a lot if you are travelling between April-June as Monday all exhibition center closed so plan accordingly . Day 1 - Fire mountain , The Atashgah Fire Temple , The Mud Volcanoes at Gobustan , rock art & Museum in Gibustan Day 2 - Heydar Aliyev Centre,The miniature books near Palace of Shirvanshahs , The Palace of Shirvanshahs , The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum ,Highland park Evening time : visit Nizami Street in night , The Flame Towers view , Little Venice canal boating , Baku Boulevard park - sea view , Day 3 - Shahdag mountains or Quabala mountain with skiing facilities Always book with total packages is better

Baku is a wonderful city. Particularly the fact that it was being maintained with great effort , keeping it so clean & tidy. The city has wonderful land scaping with great buildings - Old has its own history & the new with modern state of the art - structures. Nizami street is a wonderful area for variety of food. Its a beautoful city with lovely streets, shopping, restaurants, cafes. It is facing the Caspian Sea and given its position it can be quite windy. People are also very friendly and sweet. Languages mostyl spoken are Azeri and Russian, and a little English. Getting around is best and cheaper by booking cabs on the app Bolt, which can also be used to order food delivery.

Nice hotel, the room was clean and quiet and the bed confortable. The guys at the front office were really the kindest, they helped me a lot during my stay, with recommandations, calling for me and getting informations, with my suitcase etc. A lot, really appreciated and I was always welcomed with a smile! I will come back when visiting Baku :)

It's far from the roads which is nice in that it's really quiet, you don't hear traffic. I don't think the owner speaks English, I spoke to him in Russian, I was at another hotel and nobody there spoke Russian or English well so that was dificult. The owner was kind and he accepts payments in any currency. The hotel was very cheap, around 50 dollars for 6 nights or so.

The suite room is the best one in the Hotel and the staff is superb especially Renat who helped us with airport transfers and Shahdag transfers. The balcony is perfect to sit out and have a cup of coffee. There are stairs to reach the hotel so it's a good idea to remember that, the staff help you with the luggage on stairs and have a lift for the luggage too. A great place to enjoy our stay in Baku
