The focus is broad encompassing the gamut of cutting-edge technologies as applied to all aspects of life sciences.
The aim is to bring together all those scientists (researchers, engineers, managers, technicians, teachers, students, post-docs etc) grappling daily with the implementation, operation and innovation of advanced technologies applied to life sciences. In doing so the aim is to unite one and all in a discourse at the interface between "pure" sciences and "applied" technologies; specifically, in the domain of biological and life sciences where this articulation has such powerful and immediate perspective in all our lives.
