The food industry is undergoing real change, with the downsizing of production means, outsourcing and subcontracting, and ongoing research for innovative products as the sector tries to satisfy ever more demanding consumers whilst optimizing production systems.

Semi-processed food products, assembly products, ingredients and subcontracting solutions lie at the heart of these issues. Semi-processed food products meet the market`s growing need for quality, adaptability and flexibility and have become a vehicle for innovation.
With three successful editions under its belt, high quality visitors (from R&D, product innovation units, major corporates) and an excellent conference programme, attracting close to 2,000 participants in 2008, IN-FOOD 2008 is the only event fully dedicated to semi-processed food products and ingredients, offering finished product manufacturers a comprehensive range of targeted solutions.

The three exhibitions IPA, IN-FOOD and SIAL are held in conjunction so that the food industries can be explored from top to bottom.
