  • The Marmara Taksim, Istanbul, Turkey

Description

The concepts of Reproductive Medicine especially in the management of infertility, assisted reproduction and human genetics, menopause, contraception are changing in relation with the evolution of social, cultural and especially economical issues. New indications and requests for cost effective treatment regimes; simple, easy and successful treatment plans; fertility preservation; prediction and prevention of risks of reproductive problems are increasing in the society. It is evident that the evolution of health care system organization and management, the development and validation of new approaches of diagnostic procedures and treatment modalities will change the vision and the mission of our specialty in the near future.

We trust that there is a need of organizing some scientific meetings to focus on a special issue(s) of the reproductive medicine to review every aspect of related topic(s) in detail and to give the participants up-to-date and evidence-based information.

The first symposium organized for this purpose will gather distinguished international and national faculty of clinicians and scientists to address, disscuss and to give up-to-date information on recent advances, controversies and future directions of fertility preservation technologies and on the current understanding of pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of PCOS . The ovulation stimulation protocols for various problems causing infertility and for assisted reproductive technologies will also
be discussed in the scope of patient centered strategies and cost-effectiveness.

The Symposia will be organized under the auspieces of the Society of Reproductive Medicine,Turkey and The International Society of Fertility Preservation (ISFP).

Istanbul in the spring will be the charming venue of the Symposium. It has been said that Istanbul is the last eastern city when traveling from the east and last western city when traveling from the west. The city, located on two continents, has a very rich social and cultural heritage. The capital of successive Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires, Istanbul offers visitors all the sophisticated delights of a big modern city.

The program being organized by the Scientific Committee, the colorful and exciting social activities coupled with the breathtaking panorama and exotic surroundings of Istanbul will make this Symposium a rewarding educational, social and travel experience.
