The World Social Science Forum 2015 is an international conference dedicated to current global issues and future priorities for international social sciences under the theme `Transforming Global Relations for a Just World`. The forum promotes cross-disciplinary and innovative work and cross-science collaborations in the natural and human sciences. The event is organized by the International Social Sciences Council (ISSC) together with the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) ,the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) and a consortium of universities and research centres from across the African continent.

The World Social Science Forum 2015 covers topics such as:

  • Patterns of production and consumption
  • Global inequalities as it relates to governance
  • Quality health and education
  • Cultural exchanges
  • Human rights and social justice
  • Climate change and adaptation

The World Social Science Forum 2015 brings together about 1500 delegates from across the globe involved in social sciences.
