Dear colleagues and friends,
Without even our noticing, Christmas started approaching and once again we would like to invite you to the Annual Congress of the Czech Society of Cardiology on behalf of the Czech Society of Cardiology Committee and on behalf of the congress organizational committee.
The 18th Annual Congress of the Czech Society of Cardiology is going to take place in May 16-19, 2010. May, the beautiful weather, good moods, quality professional and social program all these have become inseparably associated in our minds.
Currently, we are facing an economic crisis which puts us all in an uneasy situation. However, the CSC committee and the congress organizational committee emphasize that the program of the congress, especially the issue of postgraduate education of doctors and nurses, will remain of high quality and it will contribute to the expansion of knowledge in the field. Moreover, our common effort is to achieve a larger participation of significant professionals of European fame in individual working groups of CSC. As traditionally, our colleagues from Slovakia will present an overview of the topical issues. New aspects of the congress for this year are the expansion of the number and range of professional company symposia and utilization of new spaces of the Brno Exhibition Grounds.
We strongly believe that you will be pleasantly surprised by the new conception of the accompanying social program which will provide space for the strengthening of both friendly and professional relationships.
We are convinced that the 18th Annual Congress of the CSC will as always represent a dynamic leap in the development of Czech cardiology, this time on a more European scale, and it will also be a good starting point for discussions on new technologies and medical procedures being implemented in the wide clinical practice.
We look forward to meeting you all in the blooming Brno in May and we hope that the days of the congress will bring you not only new professional stimuli but also good mood.
