Biliary MRI Symposium; Focus Discussion by Experts on Imaging in Sclerosing Cholangitis

Not long ago the major roll of MRI in liver was primarily assessment of focal liver lesions and stone disease. Today, MRI is used even for assessment of diffuse liver diseases as well as biliary disease other than stones. The role of MRI in hepatobiliary diseases is expanding and MRI is one of the main modalities for diagnosis of biliary diseases.
During the course of one day, we will focus on multi$disciplinary diagnostic evaluation of sclerosing cholangitis, especially primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). The most renowned speakers in this field from different parts of the world will give a comprehensive review of the different aspects of PSC. At the end of the day, the panel will try to discuss the subject and answer the questions of the audience.

TARGET,GROUP
The course  is primarily  intended for MRI specialists, abdominal radiologists, MRI technicians, gastroenterologists, and liver surgeons. Specialists in nuclear medicine and residents are also welcomed.

OBJECTIVES
To discuss and elucidate advantages and problems of diagnostic biliary
imaging with focus on MRI in sclerosing cholangitis.
