The conference is a new and exclusive platform where over 200 experienced innovation practitioners from large corporations in Europe will engage actively with one another in a dialog on current innovation practices, with a focus on open innovation and new business creation.

Speakers:

The EIC 2011 keynote speech will be delivered by Dr. Henry Chesbrough, a world renowned industry expert who has coined the term `open innovation` and authored several books on the topic. Dr. Chesbrough will play a key role throughout two of the three conference days (March 30th and 31st), where he will lead discussions in the open innovation track and share his insights on the subject.

From the conference key sponsor LEGO Group, Executive Vice President Mads Nipper will deliver the opening address. Other experts from a range of leading companies will be giving talks throughout all three days of the conference, including Philips, Nokia, DSM, Alcatel Lucent, Hewlett Packard, Novozymes and several others.

Exclusive Event

EIC 2011 is exclusively for experienced innovation practitioners from large corporations in Europe (over 700 m in turnover). The daily programme is designed to be participative and takes place against the backdrop of Hotel LEGOLAND s playful atmosphere. Participants will be treated to a daily lunch and dinner with their peers.

As a special take-away, conference participants will receive a free copy of Dr. Chesbrough s latest book on open innovation to be published in January 2011.
