Geomechanics for Unconventional is a course dedicated to he basics of oil field geomechanics, and the second part on its application to unconventional developments.

Geomechanics for Unconventional covers topics such as:

  • The reservoir geomechanics
  • The basics of reservoir geomechanics and its application to unconventional exploration and developments, specifically for both near-wellbore and for reservoir geomechanics
  • Key issues in the specification, and qc of a geomechanics evaluation or testing program
  • Geomechanics for petroleum applications
  • Geomechanical issues for common petroleum applications, especially hydraulic fracture stimulations in unconventional plays

Geomechanics for Unconventional brings together:

  • Reservoir engineers
  • Geoscientists
