Throughout the five days of the SIHH, the exhibiting brands present their new collections to Fine Watch professionals and journalists. These five days are also marked by
four key events:
- Official inauguration: The SIHH is officially opened at a ceremony before representatives of the Genevan authorities, CEOs of the exhibiting brands and international journalists.
- Cocktail: The traditional SIHH cocktail is also a fundraising event. In 2010, the Exhibitor Committee chose to support the work of the Smiling Children Foundation.
- Supplier`s day: Exhibiting brands can invite their suppliers to visit the SIHH on this day.
- Staff day: Staff from the exhibiting brands are invited to spend a few hours at the Show. The time and day of their visits are scheduled in advance.
Brands supply the FHH with a list of the staff and suppliers they wish to invite to these events. They then receive a nominative invitation which they must present at the welcome desk.
Trade fair only open to Fine Watch professionals who have been invited by the exhibiting brands.
