The Medicalisation of Childhood: Time for a Paradigm Shift 2013 is a conference dedicated to DSM-5 (5th Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders of the American Psychiatric Association) educational, clinical and forensic implications for psychologists in relation to the concerns about changes that might occur in the psychiatric prescribed treatment and diagnosis of young people and children by medical practitioners.
