The 13th Symposium on Automation in Mining, Mineral and Metal Processing 2010

  • 02-06 Aug 2010
  • Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town, South Africa

Description

The IFAC Symposium on Automation in Mining, Mineral and Metal Processing provides a forum where control, mining, mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, smelter, refinery and metal processing professionals and researchers may meet to review state-of-the-art automation technologies in the field. The objectives of the Symposium are:

  • To promote the exchange of knowledge and experience among practitioners and researchers related to automation in the mining, mineral and metal industries.
  • To promote development of an international interdisciplinary network among professionals interested in automation in mining, mineral and metal processing.
  • To identify the best practices, methodologies and technologies used in  process automation  in  mining  and  metallurgical processes.

Stellenbosch University is pleased to invite practitioners, executives, professionals academics, researchers, consultants and vendors of automation products to participate in the 13th IFAC Symposium.
