Translational Cancer Medicine 2010 - Europe

  • 21-24 Mar 2010
  • RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands

Description

Translational cancer medicine happens at the interface between the lab and the clinic. It transitions basic science breakthroughs to the practice of medicine and uses clinical outcome to feed back into basic research. In order to make any advances in translational cancer medicine, there must be open lines of communication between researchers and clinicians. Translational research is a key programmatic priority of the AACR, and the global Translational Cancer Medicine Conference Series was developed with this in mind. The first Translational Cancer Medicine conference took place in Singapore in November 2007, and was followed in 2008 with conferences in Monterey, California, and Jerusalem, Israel. Through this series of international conferences, information on current advances in translational cancer medicine were presented and new collaborations were fostered through the open discourse essential for progress against cancer. We hope you will join us in Amsterdam for the fourth conference in this exciting series.
