Nova Southeastern University Health Professions Division is proud to sponsor a unique CME experience and invites you to set sail on "Heart to Heart III 2010 - Primary Care to Specialty Practice- Primary Care to Specialty Practice". Heart to Heart III is a comprehensive medical education program produced by the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology (APAC) and is designed to provide the latest in cardiovascular medicine for PAs, physicians, and APNs in all practice settings. The curriculum is incorporated in a 7-Day land to sea venture. starting with a keynote presentation and send-off reception in Orlando and continues on at sea. The program will include presentations on coronary heart disease, heart failure, dysrhythmia management, hypertension management, peripheral vascular disease, dyslipidemias, CV disease prevention, and more. Workshops will include areas such as basic and advanced EKG interpretation, pacemaker and ICD interrogation, and acute coronary syndrome management. This program will highlight the Dr. Louis J. Novak Seminars with Keynote presentations such as Cardiology Pearls (delivered by APACs physician liaison Dr. Diamond), approach to Cardio-Renal syndrome (Or is Reno-Cardiac), and updates on Women`s Heart Health.
