We had a great time in Rome — two days weren’t enough, there’s so much to see! The service at the restaurants was excellent. The only thing I found a bit difficult compared to other cities like Sorrento was finding mini markets or small grocery stores.

It was an awesome experience to finally see Rome in all its glory as it relates to culture, history, and historical sights, along with the cuisine, wine and shopping! We especially enjoyed our private tour of the Vatican (a lifelong dream), and the amazing architecture and beauty of the "old world", truly a joy and blessing to get to experience.
As for constructive feedback, the city overall is too dense with both pedestrian and auto traffic, streets challenging to navigate physically at times, and a bit surprised at how much graffiti there was, making the overall experience less enjoyable.

I've been here a few times over the years but this time it seemed quieter and less expensive - maybe other tourist locations have caught up. Walking around the Colosseum and Forum ruins never tires, and we visited the Pantheon for the first time and it was spectacular. We also visited the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and The Vatican and the museum. We also had some time to go shopping. We spent three days there which was enough to see all of the main attractions. We also walked everywhere, covering 12 - 18 km every day. Taxi to and from the Airport was about 45 mins and a fixed price (great idea) af around 55 Euros

Rome is just full of history.
Rome is just full of history. Highly suggest staying downtown near Pantheon. You can walk to all the main sites. You don't need to rent a car. The train system in Italy is fantastic. Also did a bike/food tour, highly recommend. We booked Colosseum and Roman Forum, worth visiting but go early in morning. The Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica is also a must! Would also suggest you take train from the airport to main station, much cheaper than taking cab from airport.

Rome is fabulous and 2 days was not enough time to see everything. We walked to most sites. If I was going again I would take tours of the sites, probably the golf cart tours. Walking is much harder than advertised.

This guesthouse was one of the best places I stayed in during my trip to Italy. The hosts were very kind and responsive. The guesthouse is located a few minutes from the Vatican and it is also close to the subway so you can easily access other sites within Rome from here. There are also some very nice restaurants nearby. The guesthouse was very clean and tastefully decorated. They had. kettle, tea and a coffee machine in the room. I would high recommend it.
The location was perfect for me. It's my favorite part of Rome and the hotel is so convenient and easily accessible.. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was excellent and I loved being able to have a cappucino made for me (rather than out of a machine like many other "included" breakfasts I've had in italy). Having a kettle in the room was a nice surprise as well. This will be my 'go to" hotel in Rome from now on!
Very central hotel close to the A Metro line, Metro stop Re Di Roma being 5 mins away. Reception staff very helpful but also very kind and helpful staff at breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good breakfast. This hotels does the best scrambled eggs in Rome, if not in Italy!
Great location close to train station and easy to get to centre of Rome. Nice and clean room with accomodating host. Breakfast was a cappuccino and crossiant from cafe downstairs, cappuccino was one of the best we had in Italy!
The location is just out of the main area in Rome so nice a quiet. The spa is fabulous and has a good little gym to work out in.
The breakfast is outstanding. Best in Italy. Lovely big pool to use but was no hot in mid July.
