I liked the location and the room was clean although I upgraded to a "double" room and it was tiny! Safe hotel in a fairly central location.

The location is very good near by London eye and large station which is Waterloo. The hotel is clean and housekeeping service is excellent. The family room is excellent as space and contain two sleeping places which is good for a family of 4 persons. I did not utilize the breakfast option so no opinion.

This is a truly luxurious hotel. The room is immaculate, the bed is very comfortable, the shower is perfect, and the view from my window is amazing. We loved the book theme!Everyone that we've encountered has been gracious and welcoming. The Park Café's late night pizza hit the spot. The wine pour was generous. I don't think you could ask for more from a hotel anywhere.

Always worth visiting London, and the weather has been fine...

Always worth visiting London, and the weather has been fine and kind this time. Tube and rail are noisy, sweaty and busy, but efficient (regular rail - not Gatwick Express - from Gatwick is fast, sensibly priced, and stops at Clapham Junction as well as Waterloo (or Victoria?). Great range of museums, shopping, galleries - check out new find - Teahouse Theatre (for relaxed and delicious tea - not coffee - or food - great experience) in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. We also visited 'The Coal Drops', a reconstructed industrial area to walk around and enjoy the canal-side scene, shopping and food. And don't miss the Tower of London - our daughter works there!

    Loved the sights.

Loved the sights. Camden Town, Tower of London being particular favourites. We ate at "Wendy's" where there was plenty of seating upstairs and the prices were very budget friendly. Fries there are delicious! We travelled up from The West Midlands by train, & once in London we used the London Red Buses, Uber Taxi's and London Underground system (Tube) to get around cheaply and easily. Will return, lots to see and do!

London has day life and night life.

London has day life and night life. Transportation convenient with Tubes but some lines of the Tubes become old and worn out, delays happen frequently. Many attractions - royals, history, grand museums of various streams and good restaurants. But shopping with VAT 20% and no visitors tax refund is unfavorable to luxury or souvenirs shopping.

    London is an experience.

London is an experience. I have been several times before, and always manage to find something new and exciting. The only thing that keeps surprising me, is how loud it is on the subway... Headset with noise cancellation is recommended... Or some kind of ear protection. :P Otherwise... if you visit for shopping, or for history, you won't be disappointed. :)

City sites, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Tower Bridge, The Tower...

City sites, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Tower Bridge, The Tower having museum of crowns, the dramas and comic narration by Tower guides, London Eye, Big Ben, Cotswold drive by hired car, White cliff be hired car, Seven sisters by hired car, Oxford, Shakespeare home, The castle bus tour with guide David...........all were fantastic... Local travel by Uber Cab, Hop on bus, Trains and walk were exciting, food was wonderful with many options all over city... We stayed at 6 locations Hotels during 7 nights to save local transport and cost of hotels as per site seeing plans. We can still visit once to cover some theatres, shows, Disney, Some historic sites, Manchester, Wimbledon football stadiums, Scotland tour for a week.. Although payments in Pound is pinching the pocket, I would say its worth visiting London for 2 weeks for people having any age... young, mid age or elderly. There is something for everyone...

The Holiday Inn in Kensington London is in a fantastic location, the underground is around the corner from the hotel therefore it is so easy to return after an excursion, there are so many great shops, cafes and restaurants in the area that you will be spoilt for choice during your stay; if you need a bank or the post office they are also conveniently situated not too far from the hotel. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and efficient. A great place to stay!

Location was amazing - train station was a 5 minute walk to get you into central London whilst being out of the busy rush. Right next to the airport too so if you’re a plane geek like myself you will love it! Parking was cheap compared to other hotels we checked out too

This is a real no nonsense hotel it's quite outdated looking but being one of the cheapest hotels in London near a underground station it's nearly worth just living with it. When checking out you simply drop your key card in a mailbox at the desk and away you go.
