Fundamentals of Geotechnical Design (1.2 CEUs) 2013 is a course that covers topics such as:
- Design procedures for stability and settlement of deep and shallow foundation systems in rock and soil
- Characterization of subsurface investigation, natural deposits and field measurements
- Seepage through dams and landfills and the control of seepage through the use of filters and low permeability layers including the use of geosynthetic liners and filters
- Design of excavations and retaining structures; embankments and slopes
