This five-day course will focus on reviewing concepts and new advances in pain management, regional anesthesia, critical care, cardiac anesthesia and pediatric anesthesia.
This activity is designed to educate or refresh the knowledge of practicing anesthesiologists, critical care specialists, nurse anesthetists, anesthesiology residents and students.
By the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to: - Identify & review current and new pharmacology, new anesthetic medications and understand how to integrate them into physician practices.
- Increase recognition and appropriate treatment of septic and critically ill patients by improved diagnosis and monitoring.
- Develop new skills for the performance of ultrasound guided nerve blocks, as well as have a broader knowledge base of their application in the clinical setting.
