This seminar will review selected clinical science, immunological disorders, and laboratory tests under the aegis of allergy, clinical immunology and pulmonary disease. Practical aspects of diagnosis and treatment from the vantage point of a primary care physician will be emphasized. Upon completion of the seminar, participants should be able to recognize allergic diseases, immunological disorders, and selected pulmonary diseases; better educate their patients about these disorders; and make clinical decisions in consultation with allergists/immunologists and pulmonologists. This seminar is designed for primary care physicians and other health professionals delivering care to patients with allergic, immunologic and pulmonary diseases.
