ANTEM/AMEREM 2010 will bring together the two North American Electromagnetic Conferences, ANTEM and AMEREM. As per tradition the ANTEM conference will cover a broad range of topics in electromagnetics, antennas and related topics. AMEREM will continue their tradition of addressing research on High Power Electromagnetics (HPEM) , Ultra-Wideband Short Pulse Electromagnetics (UWB SP) , and Unexploded Ordnance Detection and Range Remediation (UXO) .
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to this joint conference, which will be held July 5 - 9, 2010, in Ottawa, ON, Canada. The selected dates are one week prior to the annual APS/URSI Conference, which will be held in Toronto, ON, Canada, July 10 - 17, 2010. Toronto is just 500 km south of Ottawa and can be easily accessed by plane, train, bus or automobile. The two conferences being held back to back will provide participants the opportunity to attend both conferences.
The conference will be held at the historic Fairmont Ch teau Laurier, in the heart of Canada s capital city Ottawa, which offers visitors a wide range of cultural and historic sites. The landmark hotel is a magnificent limestone edifice with turrets and masonry reminiscent of a French Ch teau. It is located along the Ottawa River, between Qu bec and Ontario, two of Canada s renowned historical and cultural provinces, and is situated next to Canada s parliament buildings. It is within walking distance of the Byward market, one of Canada s oldest and largest public markets, which offers a wide variety of restaurants and shops.
