  • 11-13 May 2010
  • Macdonald Crutherland House, East Kilbride, United Kingdom

Description

Flow measurement is vital to many industrial sectors: water supply, oil extraction, gas distribution and much of the process and pharmaceutical industry depend on flow meters for quality control and custody transfer. To obtain the required level of accuracy at an affordable price it is crucial that the right meter is selected for the application, but the metering engineer is faced with a bewildering array of technologies and conflicting claims from manufacturers.

This 3-day course will cover the key aspects of flow measurement and will describe all available meter types and their applications. This will enable attendees to make informed decisions in selecting the most appropriate meter for their application. The course is fully residential and includes participation on the course, lecture notes, certificate of attendance, dinner, bed and breakfast on 10 and 11 November and lunch and refreshments on each of the three days. Places on this course are limited.

No previous flow measurement knowledge is required. The course is aimed at delegates who have engineering or science background and training and who are looking to improve their flow measurement knowledge.

Attendee places are now available for this event but are limited in number.
