Description

Dear Colleagues
On behalf of the organizers it is my privilege to extent our invitation to participate in the forthcoming European Academy of Gynaecological Cancer international congress supported by the European School of Oncology (EAGC-ESO Congress) to be held in Budapest, Hungary, from May 16-19, 2010. The congress is entirely devoted to carcinoma of the uterine cervix, with the major aim of establishing treatment guidelines based on FIGO staging by internationally acknowledged experts. Education is the main trust. In addition, participants are welcome to present their research, thoughts in this context.
During the past two decades several novel methods and approaches were introduced into the management cervical carcinoma, including fertility spearing surgery, extended radicality with less sequels, molecular targeting, chemoradiation etc. As a result, novel treatment guidelines are invariably required. Up to date reviews of current treatment modalities will also be provided. The pre-congress course will deal with the advanced surgical techniques involved in managing cervical carcinoma.
The European Academy of Gynaecological Cancer is a European educational and research organization for comprehensive training and research in gynaecological oncology in Europe. It is a non-private, non-profit, non-governmental and independent corporation. (www.EAGC.eu)
As for the venue, Budapest offers warm hospitality, with lots of cultural and tourist attractions. Participants will have an opportunity to experience some of them.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Budapest and looking forward as well to your invaluable contribution.
Peter B sze
Chairman of EAGC
