Following the success achieved over the last six years, the organizers of this year s Palestine ExpoTech are, for the second time, making this event an international event with numerous activities that contribute to the development of the information and communications technology sector in Palestine.
This year, PITA will launch the event under ExpoTech Technology Week. The international level of participation is a main distinguishing feature of ExpoTech 2010. Many international companies and firms specialized in information and communication technology such as Microsoft, Google have directly participated.
The event will also give new Palestinian startups the opportunity to network; seek technical support and capital to develop their ideas and innovations.
ExpoTech Technology Week will be divided into four key events. Each of these events will have its special importance, place, details and a large media promotion campaign: Palestine ICT Conference Technology Entrepreneur Forum Exhibition in Gaza Technology Multinational Days
This annual event receives great interest and acceptance from Palestinian businesses and the community in general. ExpoTech s 2008 event had around 23000 visitors from various Palestinian cities and in 2009 it grew to 35000. Visitors represented different age groups from the public, private and academic sectors. This year s focus is to increase the number of delegations and visitors from outside Palestine.
This year s event gives a real opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, experiences and information. It also gives visitors the opportunity to familiarize themselves with new technology and network through meetings and seminars held throughout the conference.
